No, nobody will find a fold here because you absolutely crush his range. Also, sorry zpaceman but not shoving is a mistake.

Re(4): One of the toughest spots ive been in in a while
Look at the size of the pot. Look at the size of your stack. You aren't folding, and if you're ahead he likely has 2 or 3 outs so you have to get value from hands you beat. You do this by checking and letting him bluff later.

Re(1): Best line to extract value? Tilt 55k
Fold preflop and it's not even close. In fact, even if you are playing 20 handed and everybody limps to you in the SB, don't even complete with T2s.

Re(1): Do I value raise this river? Hand from WSOP Main Event day 1D
CincinnatiKid, If you want to actually analyze this, put some math behind it. Provide percentages with how often he bets with a ten, an ace, a smaller flush, or a straight and how often he calls with a worse hand, etc etc. But, for you to totally discount SCTrojans read that this guy will not 3-bet the river without a hand that beats him by saying he will do it 50% of the time is confusing to me.

Re(11): Do I value raise this river? Hand from WSOP Main Event day 1D
No, passing up value is horrible poker. Saying blanket terms such as "raise folding is horrible poker" is retarded. In live poker, you develop very strong reads over hours of one-tabling. SC's read is basically, this guy will not 3-bet shove without the nuts. (There are a lot of nits out there - especially live) Therefore, you will never fold the best hand, but will get value by offering great odds on a small raise.

Re(8): ooooh, so THIS is how a donkey thinks
Felloff, By the way, before you jump into the higher stakes where people will definitely fold their bad hands, you should know one little secret. NOBODY FOLDS ON THE RIVER GETTING 8:1 ODDS.

Re(4): ooooh, so THIS is how a donkey thinks
Felloff, You should definitely move up where your raises will be respected and people will play more of an "ABC poker." I can't tell you how much easier the game is now that I can play higher. Good luck in the future, you are clearly one of the guys that gets "it."

You have 22 BB's and TT against someone who gets out of line. Either OP was wrong on his read or is being results oriented.

Ray - you are correct, it is infinitely better to put your opponent on a specific hand that you beat rather than a range of possible hands.

Yeah, so he decided to take a flop out of positon against a good player. Was his plan to check/fold every flop with a J, Q, K, or A in it' NH, WP.

This is a SNG, not a MTT. Also, Zpaceman is a huge nit, so the re-raiser's range should be tight.
