Re:amazing idea for FTP and Pokerstars that will never happen. This might work for you, but think about it from a business point of view---they would lose way too much money. Don't waste your time with this. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Serious Rebuy Suggestion OK, I'll give the example then the suggestion. EX: Everybody on table does rebuy. You each have 3,000 chips. You're on button; you raise; everyone folds; now you have 3,045. The next hand you get it all in and lose. Now you have 45. You're only allowed to do one rebuy so you will have 1,545. You feel like you lost twice. If you play enough of these, I'm sure you've been in a similar situation and it sucks! SUGG: Every player should be allowed to start with maximum starting chips at any time in first hour (in example, 3,000 chips). As long as they're willing to pay ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Petition on reduced rake Last night, FTP went down (as we all know). They have a formula to compensate. Naturally the rake isn't included. On December 16th, Poker Stars is offering a $5,000+$200. Why is the rake so high' Answer: Because they can! The concept of rake originated in poker rooms out West. The higher the game the higher the rake, because if a dealer made a mistake, the house compensated. There is a "human" element. Online there is no dealer error. They charge us higher rakes in tournaments as the buy-in goes up because they can. And none of us do anything about it. They'll argue they give you more ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): more evidence for all the beth shak haters I was in same situation in Atlantic City. 1st level of tournament. I limped in utg with 10-10. Flop---K-J-10. Checked around. Turn---Ace. Checked around. River---Queen! Small blind moved in. Everyone called. To this day i regretted calling! So I don't laugh at Beth for her small sacrifice! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): more evidence for all the beth shak haters Maybe she forfeited her small investment in the pot (i.e 150) for the sake of not revealing what she limped in with. Maybe she really is playing on that level! Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(3): Absolute Poker super-user reviewed and potripper's actions explained. This was very thoroughly done by you and you should be commended. However, all the victimized players' hands are now exposed to everyone for "free". They lose twice now. I understand why the real players actions had to be shown for the credibility of it all. AP should thoghtfully compensate them for more than the obvious fact that they were cheated. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
