Re:How do they do it? How do they dodge the bad luck?
Man it is so sad that you believe that online poker is like the lottery. Disregard the fact that the local news doesn't celebrate when you have a score. Anyway, if you use the word luck in place of variance, ever in your life, you don't understand and will never learn to play poker. So in the meantime play home games with wild-cards and stick with dealers choice. That will be the only way you will not have "bad luck".

Re:How do they do it? How do they dodge the bad luck?
I didn't read all of the posts. I will say this though, there is no luck that effects poker long term. You either work and study and get better or you lose money. sorry to the people who make money off of these players, but I couldn't resist.

Re:Wondering if I can get away from this.
Thanks for your response. I wasn't bothered by the result. Just thinking maybe the right play would be to lay it down to his reraise and still have 2545 behind. This is based on the fact that I hadn't seen him play any hands so I am just guessing that he is reraising light. But, then again being that he is defending his blind and there are only two hands I am behind to I guess I have to push. Thanks again.

Wondering if I can get away from this.
I had just moved to this table about 5 hands before this one. The hands that I saw made it look as though the table had been really active and there were a few over pot bets. Other than that I really had no info on any players. Just wondering if anyone has a different way to play this situation. Re:Antonius, Cloutier & Adams turned away from Main Event
Sorry Nole, Don't take me the wrong way. I'm not saying this is the players fault just that this is not a small event. If they are having multiple day1 they should require everyone to preregister and then let everyone know what day they are playing. They should also adapt the satty schedule accordingly. It's not as if the WSOP or any site that is sateliteing(sp) packages is going to lose money this year.

Re:Antonius, Cloutier & Adams turned away from Main Event
I don't know if this has been said already, I didn't read all of the posts. This should never be a problem. The answer is simple, everyone should have to be registered before the event starts. The committee can give you a choice for which day you want to play but there should be no guarantee. Just take all the registered players and divide them evenly taking into account the ones that request a certain day1.

someone with authority on UB?
Hopefully you guys can fix the software. I am so sick of timing out when I try to reraise. It's no wonder everyone that plays online for real money hates UB.

Re:Ultimate Bet Constructive Criticism Post ( Roothlus Posting)
I think they should look at the time bank. put in a button to click if you want to use your time bank when you have no chips in the pot yet. When your time bank is gone you have very little time to put in a bet or raise. Also the other night there were two times I was clicking on the bar to put in a raise and it reset back to the call amount and before I got to the amount I wanted I was timed out.

Re(1): i can't multitable
I've been trying to learn to multitable also. Since I'm not very good at it yet I've been opening play money tables to practice so I can't loose any money. If it gets too chaotic you can sit out without wondering if you missed anything. Just a suggestion. GL

advice for a newer player plz.
If I have the second shortest stack at the ft should I play aggressive or very tight' In this situation moving up a spot would = about 5% of my BR. Does that matter or should I just play to win' I am working on building up but have a very small BR right now.
