Re(2): what motivates you?
I like the idea of not having a work schedule and a boss telling me what to do. It's like being the owner of your own business in a way.

Re(2): working out and poker
However, eating healthy makes you run bad. Anyways, I don't think it makes a difference, there are plent of out of shape players that are excellent. Working out will make you a happier person but that has nothing to do with poker.

Re(1): What's your play here?
I call his shove here because more often you have him dominated. Rarely (but sometimes) people shove with AA or KK here, because thats really not the best way to get value from the hand. I'd call and expect to see something in the 88-JJ range.

Re(1): MTT Bankroll - When do you drop down?
Bankroll management is not a science but a guideline. If you feel you're dropping down too quickly but that's what you're comfortable doing then you better do it. Notice in the fox article how there is such a wide range of bankroll suggestions. Instead of Pro/Protected/Unprotected it would probably be better to say Lowest Risk / Medium Risk / High Risk. So how much risk are you willing to take, and remember that risk = reward. Usually with poker a high risk investment is unfavorable. With investing high risk is usually performed in short term while low risk is long term. (ex. day trading, ...

Re(4): NEED GOOD EXCUSE so i can go to aruba
besides sounds to me like hes a "gambler with a college problem", so this post is pointless, drop out, win tournaments. College is for people who need the education/skills/creditials to be hired for a career in the field of their choice. You are a poker player and likely always will be, and somehow I doubt your test is on check raising. edit: coming across as a dick, but seriously... this test is not worth 2% what that aruba trip is worth. If you fail the class you lose $400 tops
