I definately raise this in a 4.40 pre flop. You have a decent chip stack so i would of bumped it to 350-400. Playing aggressive in these is the only way to make money. The average skill level of people in these is very poor. Just play aggressive and see a lot of heads up flops and you should be able to do very well. You did get very unlucky though. So dont feel to bad about how you played it.

Ya i would definately re-raise pre flop in this spot with the kings. I would bump it to around 340-400 total. At this level buy-in, he is not likely to fold. And if he does have something like AK, QQ,JJ,1010, and maybe AQ here, he is prolly going to push pre flop. I may smoothe call the big blind with your kings, but with the number of people to act after you. Well GL in the future.

Ya i can't stand family watching me play. Until i get heads up at least. My brother is very aggressive and i fold many more hands than him..like kj and j10. And i seem to play loser when he is around for some reason. It feels like i am trying to prove something. The only time i like him around is heads up because his aggression helps me a lot. Ya i liked your initial raise but with his min raise and you having just enough chips to fold, i muck it. I feel that he has you dominated with KK or QQ. You can fold and hopefully find a monster hand or better postion to shove very soon

$2.00 dollars seems fair. He should have been very happy with 100 dollars. If his friend didnt get the money from him than im sure he could have managed to get a dollar seventy five by going around and bagging people at live game tables.

How much?
How big of bankroll should one have before playing in a fair number of 100 and 50 dollar tourneys' say around 800 dollars a day worth of tourneys. How much should i have in my account to do this' Plz let me know ASAP

Getting out of a slump?
I recently turned 18 and started my online career. I started with just a few small deposits of around $50 each. I built that with a few small tourneys and sng's. Then i managed to get deep in a thirty dollar mtt for 1.7K. Just after this i won another couple grand in various tourneys and sng's. I raised my stakes once again and then had my first big score in a hundred dollar tourney for 8K. (Would have been 12K but i went heads up with SCTrojans.) I stayed even for a while and then hit my biggest cash ever. I took second place in the stars nightly $162 for 20K. This put me on cloud nine. I ...
