You really can't ever be folding here unless you have some sick read and know for a fact opener has AA or KK. The stacks to your left in this spot mean absolutely nothing in the context of this hand. You have 22 bigs. Your only decision should be shoving or 3 betting small to induce either from the big blind or the original raiser. You're not super deep stacked so I'm not sure what you think you have time to be patient for. These are the type of spots I pray for when I'm sitting with 20 bbs. If you're ever contemplating a fold here in a situation like this you Are probably playing scared ...

Play looks fine to me. You're going to get a fold or be flipping the majority of the time. And occasionally will get called by AJ KQ suited hands. I prefer shoving to flatting oop. And making a min 3bet attempting to induce a light 4 bet shove is possible I guess but I'd prefer that if we had 25-30 bbs an villain about the same. With stack sizes shove here is by far the best option. You got the best possible scenario and got unlucky. Tough break.

Pocket 10s in the BB and on the bubble...
I'm thinking along the same lines. I'm curious if someone could run the math I wonder how close it is. Especially if you have scared players who would fold with 2 and a half bbs. Etc. Being that theyre all so low I'm guessing everyone has been folding to just about any shove due to the structure and payouts. In which case you cold fold here an chip up by positional shoves until the bubble finally bursts. At the same time I don't know how during actual play I could ever actually fold here. I'd be calling alot lighter really. But it's a weird situation.

Probably should've asked for a deal if everyone was around 4-6 bb's, playing like that is fairly ridiculous before the bubble even bursts. That tourney director should probably be punched in the nuts. It is a slightly weird ICM situation. I would think you have to call. But honestly, if you're 2nd in chips with 4bb's.. I don't know.

The benefit of multi accounting would mostly be to have a clean slate. If you're a reg at a certain level, other regs are going to have notes on you and a general idea if not a really good idea about how you play in different situations. Where as if you're on a new or different name, you will have info on the regs you're playing, and they will view you as a random. Which like alot of things in poker, a slight edge can go a long way. JJ early in WSOPc
Table stack sizes for all those involved in the hand are important as well imo. But usually a cold 4bet from a random is bad news for JJ. With info given I'd have laid it down and waited for a better spot. In tourneys with decent structure, I don't think this is a situation you need to get cute in preflop. Getting 76bb's in vs. a cold 4bettor with JJ is very meh in my book.

Just looked at his profile... He's currently ranked 10,009. Thats about the change. Jesus. He also came in third in event 7 for 25k. .. They're down to 8 in the 4 max. He's been sitting to Nutsinho's right for quite a while. Dropped down in chips, 5/8 now but still plenty deep. edit. 4/7 now. re-edit. 3/6 They just made a deal 5 handed. JRAD got 87k. Sick day.

new to p5, need some help
First hand I'm calling. Waiting for a better situation' Against a random i'd assume we're a slight favorite as far as ranges go. We're down to 10bb's. Late position shoves a short stack, we've got a mid/shitty pocket pair. I'm calling here. And wouldn't be suprised if we're slightly better than a coin flip at all. Second hand I'm folding. We're deep enough to not fuck around in this spot. If bb never ever defends his bb's and we've got a read that he's going to fold everything but the top of his range than it's a different story, anything else, i'm waiting for a better spot.

MTT Sats - New Player
Yeah a few years ago I had an ITM percentage of 20% but was almost always min cashin or slightly better. I had to open up my early game a little and that led to havin much deeper runs but alot more early busts. You just need to find a balance. Improve your post flop play during the early deep stack levels to try and progressively increase your stack instead of dwindling down and relying on flips near the money bubble to stay alive.
