Re(3): To the whiners who think it's a good thing online poker keeps taking hits
Original post is one of the best posts for awhile. The ban was instituted by Bill Frist and some other douche for their image, which is now obv to shit since they're (obv) scumbags. Banning it because of so-called 'addiction' is a lie to cover up that they are ignoring central American values and ideals. Ban online poker in America' Are you freakin serious' What's Capitalism good for'

Re(3): Stealurmoney....can he do it?
stealurmoney is not a bad player; he plays a high volume of tournaments and turns a good profit i think. That being said, I would never compare him with Below, that's just childish and pointless

Re(2): PS Employs Santa Clause? Am I the only one?
I was in a $22 180 man sng on stars yesterday, santa came to the table and gave everyone their buyin back, said the tournament buyin was our christmas present. Before leaving he said something important: Remember, it's better to be good than lucky, because miracles usually happen on 34th street, not 5th street!

Re(4): yet another thread on stars 180 SNGS
just keep playing how you are, and variance will turn your way . . . . . if you can be profitable in the 4.40's you can and will be fine in the 11's and the 22's too, there is pretty much no difference IMO between the 11's and 22's in terms of skill. gl.

Re(2): I love pokerstars.....
hes right, stars has the slowest software of any sites that I play on. I do like the view lobby button and the way the main lobby and table lobbies are designed (plus resizable tables is always good) but their software needs to run faster!!! I hate when they wait like 5 seconds before showing the river sometimes (or maybe im just laggy) but in any case, you see less hands/hour on stars than other sites.

Re(3): 4.40 180's and 22 180's
Yea, I just took a $22 180 man sng tonight, played the final table like a sng and everything turned out alright - made an enormous mistake halfway through heads up, but I still won (he started with 5-1 lead). Anyway, the $22 are to be played just like $4.40's just play very tag in the beginning and then slowly switch to lag as blinds go up to sustain a stack. Pretty much a solid plan for these tings. Re(3): bankroll building help
you should save up like 400 dollars and deposit and play $5 MTT's. Read a few books and you should be straight.

Re(2): Good or bad lay down, early in 10$ sit and go????
To me this is an Insta-push. With KK or AA, like someone said before, he would probably try to extract the most possible money, not push you out of the hand pre-flop. In $10 sng's, folding QQ pre-flop should be an extremely rare decision.

Re(3): Online Poker players are one of the most flawed groups of people in the world.
I disagree with your view on young online poker players. I know plenty of successful poker players/students that are not only looking out for themselves, but looking out for each other by lending books, teaching/giving advice/talking poker, and staking if needed. Of course, these guys could just turn the cold shoulder like your friends did, but not every online player is like that.

Don't do any of this. Go read Vol.1 and 2 of Harrington, then start playing (or play as you read if you feel comfortable)
