Re:30 " monitors
I just bought this gateway 30inch. It is reviewed on cnet as one of the best 30 inch out there and you can get it now for 1k ish. It works awesome, but you need to make sure your desktop has a high end video card so you can run the monitor at its max resolution. At max resolution you can 20 table without overlap on stars

Best Vegas Trip Report ever? Krantz
I was just browsing twoplustwo and came upon Krantz's well. Amazing. And this story comes from about the middle of his post. FYI for those that dont know Krantz is pyr1annid on FTP - highstakes players. here's a trip report i wrote up about vegas but never posted: So I arrive in Vegas last Thursday' Sitting here in San Diego following the week in question, all sense of time is lost on me. Two days into my recovery and I barely remember my name. Is there such thing as secondhand coke' There was so much [censored] blow. I call Noah from the airplane and find that he had just landed ...

Re:John Tabatabai....
At the WSOP last year I played with him a few times at the bellagio 5/10nl game. The first time I ever saw him he had 15k in front of him at the 5/10 game, and its a 1k max buy. Just as the wsope potrayed, he was uber aggressive.

Re:Has anyone received a cashout from Cake, or heard anything from them?
I sent in my jpg files of id and utilty bill on the 18th of april and have yet to hear back from them. Also, I have not been invited to use the quicktender/usemyewallet option, and I hear thats the only way it is available, through invitation.

Re:Look at this hand Hansen cleaning up but great call 68% fave for Carroll
I just got back from the Bellagio. I left right after Cory got eliminated since gus hansen had such a huge chiplead. Such a sick hand. After cory reraised pf, then checked flop and gus moved in, It took literally 5 minutes for cory to call. He kept slamming his chips on top of his stack, looking like he was about to muck. What a freaking call, guess its just gus's tourney. Interesting, Cory was also wearing a cake logo on his shirt, and as I was walking out a guy that had a Cake had and shirt on was talking on his phone about how he got their logo on tv etc, and that it didnt cost too ...

Re:sheets' horses?
I am unsure why so many people want to bring sheets/bax backing empire under fire. They are the most legitimate, respectful backing duo that have nothing less than 100% integrity. However, there are a ton of other backing arrangements that are shady. No one ever finds out about them simply because they are shady so nothing is ever said. Everyone knows about sheets and bax because there is absolutely nothing shady about their arrangements

Re:Choron what a classless move calling clock that soon on Menlo.
I agree. Total angle shoot. Cheap and classless. Absent of the clock call, he played it very well. Very unnecessary to angle shoot

Re:Venetian Deepstak during the WSOP
They have already made plans to remove all of the slot machines in front of the room to add 25 more tables soley for tourneys. So instead of 550 person, they will be able to hold 800. And they will probably still max out every day. Great tourneys

Re(2): Anyone going to grind WSOP live sattys?
These are so beatable its ridiculous. The structure is equal to a turbo sng. And the players are about as good at the 3.30 turbos on pokerstars, even up to the 500 sats

Re(3): LAPT Rio - Is it even worth it?
30% tax is a big downer, but also the only downer. Plane tickets during may are cheaper than they are at most other parts of the year. In addition, while in brazil, you will find most things to be extremely cheap based upon the dollar against the real, in addition to things just being cheaper.

Yes a visa is required for US citizens. Brazil does the reciprocity thing when it comes to visas...if your country requires it for their citizens, they require it for your citizens

LAPT Brazil
Stars announced the Latin America Poker Tour today which is great to see. FYI, for those americans interested in the LAPT in Rio, get to work on a passporte and visa soon. If you do not have a passporte, getting it and a visa will take about a month, especially if you do not live close to a brazilian consulate and have to mail in. And considering the tourney is about a month and half a way, its cutting it close. But its definitly worth it to go. Amazing place.

I've watched all the videos. I think they are well done. He did much better than many other guest pros on their first times. Here are the strong and weak points IMO, which isnt everyones opinion :) Pros: You didnt go uber in depth about every single hand, including hands you didnt play. You skipped over much of the unimportant stuff. You emphasized position and stack sizes. And in alot of instances you explained why position was important, giving an example about the hand in question (Like you had k4 or something simiilar in the sb and stated there was no point even getting 9-1 because what ...

Re(1): recordkeeping 2008
Record keeping is alot easier than it use to be. All you need is pokertracker and tournament updater and these programs will do almost everything for you. You just have to keep your hh's saved to your ocmputer, then upload them to pokertracker. Then click update on tournament updater and it updates all your money statistics into pokertracker and 123 you have all records.

Re(1): FT bubble
Four hands beat you. KK, 99, 33, and K9. Although one of these hands may have been played the way the villian played the hand, it is unlikely. Combined with being the ft bubble, where most players are more aggressive, and the fact that he min raised you, means can never ever profitably fold here. Unless you have the most amazing read ever
