Cash game questions what limits are u playing' heres a well of prob one of the best 200nl reg where he talks abt his downswings / according to balugawhale, if you are unable to beat <=100nl for 4PTBB over 25k hands, u need to play atleast 25k more hands at that level before u can move up.. so 50k hands at a limit is reasonable enough to get an indea... edit: 3king3me is a good source , pm him Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Tough Spot w/ AA Beginning of FTP $1k true but even 250bb deep you need to bet flop, board is dry. .. only reason you might check behind ,in cash here, is like andymcleod said to induce a turn bet and raise over it. also depending on player, cash player clling 4-bet 250bb deep has a much wider range most which is crushed by our hand on the flop, if he is super-nit we still bet as in cash AK,AQs+,pairs atleast TT+ could cold call here 250bb deep .. if you are playing AA weak here you might be super exploitable to say the least in 2000nl.. Tough Spot w/ AA Beginning of FTP $1k checking in cash (6 max)is debatable esp in 4 bet pot, 100 bb deep 4betting (3.5bb initial raise, 10x 3-bet and you bet between 25-30bb as ur 4 bet) would leave about 70bb behind and >60bb in the pot. 200 bb deep u still need to bet flop, you just cant put ppl on sets and check flops after 4-betting. Also since there in no "tourney life" concept in cash 4 bettorwith AA is definitely trying to get it in on a dry board like this. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Hand from FT of $10r-- Good Laydown???? pokerstove FTW... but of course if you can put him on AK, AA,KK then its a fold.. else is not.. u want ppl to try and guess what his utg range is w/o any info abt player, if you think your fold is borderline then pokerstive with a nitty utg range and see the results 99+,AQs+, AK without using stove i think ur 55-45 vs this range.
