**Champions League Semifinals: Barcelona v Chelsea and Real Madrid v Bayern Munich** As soon as Barcelona went up 2-0, figured it was all over, so much so I turned the game off and went for a walk. Man down, goal down, at the Camp Nou, against the Kings of Possession Football, and missing your 2 starting center halves. IMO, if Chelsea don't get that goal before halftime, Barcelona wins the tie rather handily in the 2nd half, but with the pressure back on to score, they simply couldn't find the 3rd goal to reclaim the tie before Torres killed it off late. Almost want Chelsea to win now, I mean to do what they did tonight was stuff of legends. RDM should be made the full time ... Posted in: Off Topic |

KY vs Florida Just got back from the game, one of the few Florida fans in attendance. Kinda surprised there were a few empty seats @ Rupp considering it was a match up of the 2 best teams in the conference, and fairly close to the court for that matter. Sat about 10 rows from the top, and even then, the view isn't bad at all. A great arena to watch basketball, and I'm glad I made Rupp Arena the site of my 1st college basketball game attended in person. If you've never been, you must go at least once. Obviously after tonight, Kentucky is far superior to anyone in the SEC, maybe even the country. Couldn't ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Lets play: Who is gonna put a claim (Mcnabb version) Some teams are real obvious like the Bears, Cowboys, Texans in terms of putting in a claim. My long shot waiver claim will be the Titans, so that the Texans will have to roll with the rookie QB Yates and the recently signed off the street Jake LOL Delhomme. Posted in: Off Topic |

Official ***G-Men vs Saints*** Thread Non PPR also, I have Colston + 8.90 points, but going against Brees AND Nicks, so I lose already. Hopefully Colston goes off and has 100 yards and 2 TD's for the both of us, 1 of those TD's being a reverse or backwards pass on a screen which would then count as a running play, so Brees doesn't get any points from it! If D-Jax didn't drop 2 TD's from Young (my QB and WR this week) and Tyler Palko could learn how not to turn the ball over on 3 straight possessions (went against PIT DEF), I'd have an even closer sweat tonight as the game would enter the 4th Quarter. But I expect to lose by ... Posted in: Off Topic |

**Week 10 FFB Strategy Thread** Flex Non PPR, need 1 after DeSean Jackson being declared inactive today for missing a meeting earlier in the week. Who do you play' A. Brown @ CIN J. Stewart vs TEN C. Benson vs PIT R. Helu @ MIA Right now, Brown is in that flex spot since he likely won't have Hall covering him and could have another big game with the Bengals' ability to stop the run. J-stew again in the time share, awful match up for Benson and we know the deal with Mike Shanahan backfields. Posted in: Off Topic |

***Fantasy Football Week 7 discussion thread*** Bye weeks and / or pending suspensions (Nicks, Benson) plus injuries (Blount) and having a low waiver priority (8 of 10 and Battle was dropped 2 days ago) have me in a bind when it comes to filling the flex position, Non PPR. I was able to snag Tebow on his BYE week and have him as my QB (Fitzpatrick's BYE), but choose 1 of the following for the flex spot. Jonathan Stewart vs. Redskins (currently in Flex, always a risky play due to 50-50 time share) Tashard Choice vs. Rams (goal line chances for sure here, but # of touches is uncertain because of Murray) Maurice Morris vs. Falcons ... Dan Wheldon (Indy car driver) So very sad, he was one of the most popular (and best when armed with a full time ride with a big name team) drivers in the series. A sure fire Hall of Famer as he also won the Series Championship in 2005. Winning 2 Indy 500's is a feat not many have accomplished in their careers and the finish to this year's race was ESPY worthy in terms of most dramatic finish to a sporting event. That was the moment that defines his career, winning the biggest race in the world (based on history, tradition, etc.) with a 1 off deal with a part time team just for that race. I remember there was a race at ... Posted in: Off Topic |

UF @ LSU smack thread........ No shame in losing to #2 and #1 in back to back weeks. Didn't believe Florida would win either game before the start of the season, and so far, that's true. Need to rebound against Auburn to keep any hope alive in SEC East. Because 3 losses is one loss 2 many to win the East this year. C'mon you Gators! Posted in: Off Topic |

**Week 5 FFB Strategy Discussion Thread** Lloyd all day, all night long. #1 WR vs a WR in a sweet passing offense but you never know how many targets he'll get from game to game. Without that 84 yd TD catch in Week 2, Nelson would've bricked that week. Lloyd only has Decker to worry about targets being taken away, plus Denver should be playing from behind in this game. **Week 5 FFB Strategy Discussion Thread** Which 2 RB's should I play' 2 RB's and flex spot also, non PPR. It sucks sometimes having so many good but not great options due to match ups. Blount @ SF Benson @ JAX Mendenhall / Redman vs TEN Tolbert @ DEN Ridley vs NYJ Also have Harvin, Colston and Mike Thomas for flex consideration (WR's are Nicks and Steve Smith (CAR)). Lineup is currently set as Blount, Benson, and PIT RB for the 3 spots, based on expected # of touches. Leave it as it is' Posted in: Off Topic |

Week 2 Consolidated FFB sit/start thread Non PPR, need to start 2 of the following, must win after losing by 1 in Week 1... Nicks vs. STL (Looks like he's gonna play) Harvin vs. TB Meachem vs. CHI S. Smith (CAR) vs. GB Of note, Sims-Walker and Burleson are available, so should I go for 1 of those players to either boost my lineup options and/or have protection for Hicks on MNF' Would have to drop Cam Newton to make it work, and I wish our league had an IR spot (Colston) so that I don't have to keep an injured player as 1 of my 15 guys for the next 4 weeks at minimum. To Spaceman: I'd drop Garcon for Knox, a WR3 on a Peyton ... Posted in: Off Topic |

**Consolidated FFB Draft help/Rate my team Thread** 10 team, Fractional Points, Standard Scoring, non PPR league with a W/R flex spot instead of 3 WR's. From the #8 spot, which was the 1 spot I dreaded picking from this year. Some notables from early in the draft, Vick and Rodgers went @ 1 and 3, CJ2K was the 1st RB drafted (2) over AP, Rice, etc. Forte was taken 9th overall (yeah). I'm pretty sure I killed it with my team based on the 1st 4 selections, as all of those players I had in my Top 20, and then I went for best available / best situation after that. Flex will be matchup based, so 1 week it might be whoever isn't my WR2 between Percy ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Junk Silver I own some although I haven't bought any in a while. Got in on it when the price was a lot lower. Every now and then though, I will find a silver coin in my change from purchases at stores, restaurants, etc so I always look to see if there is 1 in there. About a month ago I found one of those 35% silver nickels in change from a purchase I made so you never know when you'll come across "junk silver". As in any market or any commodity, you can lose $ from your "investments". Nothing is bulletproof from crippling losses, see the swings on the NYSE of late. So it is the responsibility of YOU the ... ***Official Champions League 2011/12 Thread*** It will be interesting to see where Man City goes, cause whatever group they go into, that's The Group of Death. Based on how the draw has gone so far, combined with some new rules regarding the draw, they'll be either in Group A (Bayern) Group B (Inter) or Group D (Real Madrid) Edit: Paired with Bayern and Villarreal in A. ***Official OT NFL Mock Draft*** With Pick #100 of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Bengals select... Steven Schilling - OG - Michigan The Bengals need depth on the OL, especially at OG since Bobbie Williams isn't getting any younger, and Schilling fits the bill in terms of OL flexibility, having started at both guard positions and RT at Michigan. His Junior and Senior seasons, he played at Left Guard, and only missed 1 game his entire career, due to a sprained knee in practice leading up to the Ohio State game in 2008. A better run blocker than he is a pass blocker, Schilling should fit in nicely if the Bengals go back to being ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Jake Locker HAS COME OFF, The OT Draft Board! The Bengals are absolutely ecstatic seeing Locker come all the way back to them in the 3rd Round, after passing on him for Wilson at MLB. Carson Palmer can walk away from 50 million dollars if he wishes, the Bengals have their answer at QB, even if he doesn't play for at least a season, maybe more. ***Official OT NFL Mock Draft*** With the 35th overall pick in the 2011 OT Mock NFL Draft, the Bengals selected... Martez Wilson - ILB - Illinois Ranked by many as the best Inside Linebacker in the 2011 Draft class, the Bengals are quite fortunate to have Martez (6'4" 250 lbs) fall in their lap at Pick Number 35. Considering now that Carson Palmer is putting up, or already has put up, his Cincinnati area home for sale, and its becoming clearer and clearer that he won't be a Bengal in 2011, the temptation to take Locker, or perhaps Ponder from Florida State in this spot is a definite reality. However, the QB situation ... Posted in: Off Topic |
