No money from Poker Stars :)
exact same scenario with me. i called my bank and no details available, but normally there are. i deposited check on or about 4/8/11 4/16/11 funds were removed.

Im saying i cashed out about april 1st, deposited the check april 8th, (money was removed from my stars account) ion april 15th or 16th the check was returned, yanking the money out of my bank account. yes this put me in a huge bind now. i sent pokerstars an email yesterday and am waiting on a response.

bad news guys your checks will not clear, i cashed out and deposited a check on april 7th, today/last night the funds were pulled from my checking account as being returned. i called my bank and they said normally they have info on why but they had no information for me. a member of the accounting team is supposed to call me, but pretty much feel like i am screwed. i sent pokerstars an email this morning, i expect a response by november, if i hear i will post the response.

Re(1): Disarming a Contact Alarm
the contact on the door is used to complete the circuit. when the circuit is broke it triggers the alarm. you need to keep the circuit complete when the door is being opened. the easiest way would be to slide a thin piece of something conductive between the contactors. a thin rigid piece of metal would work. it would be best to have a plan in place to secure the metal once the door is open, perhaps by usisng electrical tape to hold it in place. it would help if you posted a picture of the contacts

make sure you cap out the ram, vista is a dog. i just bought a new laptop with 2gb and it still acted dodgey, i ended up wiping the hd and installing xp after about 10 days.... if you have any other software you may run into compatibility issues. I had problems with Acrobat Pro v. 7, I decided if that didnt work I had doubts about my photoshop operating properly. I was also having issues with my pahud/pokertracker install. it is possible to dual boot xp and vista, i will probably do that but havent had the time yet. FYI the home basic version doesnt include the nicer visual effects, so ...

my suggestion is bounty tournaments, where half of your buyin goes into the prize pool, and half goes to whomever knocks you out. I think adding a bounty on every player would create an interesting dynamic.

make sure the sample you submit is not your first urination of the day, also dont drink too much water the day of the test, you need to have normal creatine levels heres everything you ever needed too know you can buy creatine suppplements at walmart, or gnc (its used in weightlifting recovery) I had to take a 5 panel DOT drug test and went and paid for my own test before going to take the recorded test. It was about $40 at an occupation health facility, unfortunately you wont have enough time to do this. I quit smokeing for about 2-3 weeks before taking the test. I dont smoke anymore, ...

I would recommend a dell over a compaq any day Here is one priced at $499, add a couple of upgrades (mainly memory) and its a far better deal. This is through the small business division, but anyone can order just make up a company name if you have too, or have it shipped to your work.

my mastercard debit card works for deposits :-p i signed up and plan to use it for withdrawls not deposits, it was nice being able to use my neteller card tro withdraw and now that thats gone this looks like a good alternative. IIRC the neteller card also charged a fee but it wsa an inactivity fee. the way to avoid that is only load the funds on that you plan to withdraw or use.

when in OZ one of the site reps told me they are working on setting up bounty tournies where half your buyin goes towards the prize pool and half toward a bounty on yourself. For instance, in a $10 MTT, every person you knocked out would pay $5. I would love to see this on a big site like stars.
