ZackAttack 1/3 in Sunday WarmUp - Awesome Chat Dialogue
Lol, Zach gonna zack. However this does remind me. I have been meaning to make a thread about how AWFUL pokerstars mods are in terms of assisting with a deal. Any deal I have ever been apart of has been rushed by their team online players like they have somewhere to be. Lots of times a significant amount of money is on the table and they are just unwilling to give people 2-3 more minutes to state their case. This has to be fixed.

Team PLB Competition: interest thread
I agree with the idea of having separate divisions. But I see enough high stake regs alone in this thread to have one with anything. If there's one with anything count me in. How will teams be choosen'

KQs facing a short stack shove, call or fold?
It's close for sure. If it's a field I think I'm a big favorite in verse the average player, I fold. If it's a tougher field I'm probably taking a spot like this. I suggest downloading pokerstove and plugging in some ranges and seeing exactly what they need to be shoving for it to be a call.

folding top pair on the internet..............LOL
And yet he's managed to make over 700k from MTTs on stars.... What you're failing to realize is for every play like this where he misplays it and you get the best of him, he probably makes 10-20 plays where you make a mistake. His style has obviously proven to be extremely effective over a significant sample and I'm not really sure how you can't fathom something that's not complicated. And lol at making a thread because of a hand he possibly misplayed.

standard? deep in the 16.5 turbo.
I'm raising my whole range here and re-evaluating what happens behind. 55 is not profitable to jam (low pairs don't do well at all from early position with these effective stacks) so I'm probably siding to folding in the 16.50. With the bottom of the barrel portion of your range here, I'm definately raise/folding from early position over just jamming. Lots of people aren't capable of re-raising light over an EP open, so when they jam they just have it and you can frequently get away from spots where you would have just stuck it in and let fate decide.

Pocket 4's UTG...What's the best play?
Live MTTs are usually so full of complete morons that push botting an 18 bb stack from the CO and HJ is very far from optimal. They are certainly profitable shoves but to just pushbot there is a pretty big leak imo. Liveaments have completely different standards for pushbotting. OP, fold pre for sure, and it isn't even close. As played I am cbetting this flop 100% of the time and re-evaluating based on my opponent. Check raising here is horrible because you're folding out worse hands and getting called by better. And I'm pretty unsure how you are unable to put him on a pair higher than 66 ...

Jamming seems bad, you should bet 1/3 of pot or so with intentions of calling a raise or getting it in on any turn.

I'm amazed how tight people's ranges are here. With so many dead chips in the middle and a 12 BB stack, I'm almost definately iso getting it in.

Deep in the 22$ 1R/1A on stars. Xavitop 4bet shoves, is this a standard call?
People seem to have missed that we don't know anything about this particular villains style and that we just know he is good (though this deep I'm going to know people's stats and villain is actually a small loser through a large sample size). Personally I think your sizing is too small, you're giving him odds to just flat this deep and that's not what you want in this situation with these stack sizes. Your hand has more value by inticing him to get it in pre and the better way to accomplish that is by making a large raise pre to set up a simpler shove on you. As played, I think you can take ...

Play my hand.
Fold pre, and it's not even remotely close, even given the apparant great odds you speak of. You're oop post flop and against most opponents on most flops you're going to check fold (and thus have committed more chips to pots you're very rarely going to win). Even bad players will own you with this bad of a hand when you're out of position.

Can someone explain this?
Don't assume all supernovas are good, because they aren't, or that they have a clue how to play a shortstack. Also, some people are very good at deep stack play and are awful at short stacked play and vice versa. Some of the short stack mistakes regs make are just rediculous.

can i ever find a fold here
Yeah, you can definately expand your flat range pre this deep against players that bad. However J10o in middle position with an early position raise is not one of those spots. J10s would be fine, any pair is fine, but you're going to be dominated a ton here. Also I forgot to mention I'm never folding the turn here, ever. He has so many KQ/AQ type hands where you're absolutely crushing him, it's also extremely unlikely he's jamming a boat.

Spot vs uaredead in the nightly 40k
The reason he flats pre is because most people don't balance their middle to early position ranges pre when there is an EP raise. Most people never range the bottom portion of their range here so a raise in this particular spot looks super strong and is almost always a really big hand, so by raising here he's putting his hand face up. In order to have a more disguised hand and balance his range, he flats. I flat here with almost 100% of my range unless there is someone who is extremely loose getting it in too light or I have a rediculous image. I think most people are just afraid to play big ...

4 bet pot with 88 nearing money bubble in the stars $11 !r1a, everyones around 40 bbs
The 4 bettors sizing just screams monster. He's never sizing this way with like AK/AQ oop. If you call you're set mining and you're waaaay too shallow to be set mining. If the 4 better is super tight then I have no idea how people are advocating anything other than a fold, I don't think it's even remotely close.

Things i would fix on party poker...instantly.
When I used to play on Bodog a few years ago I was always upset at how awful their poker software and system was. Over time I realized they made who knows how much more on their casino and sportsbetting than poker and I think that the majority of party's money comes from their casino. If they would just wise up and realize that the two are going to build off one another it would be way better but I don't think that's going to be happening anytime soon. Poker will always take a distant backseat to casino games on Party.

Two bad bluffs in $20 Freezeout. Need input on a 3 barrel bluff, and river bluff
I mean yeah I guess folding hand 2 on the river might be best. But folding pre prevents you from getting into these spots and is a big reason as to why I just fold pre. I'd be way more inclined to jam pre than call with this stack. As for hand 1 I think in a $20 tournament there are tons of awful players capable of calling a weak king to the river. The flipside is that by playing tight and waiting for hands (while showing maybe a little bit of aggression or ability to bet/fold) you get tons of value when you connect.

Two bad bluffs in $20 Freezeout. Need input on a 3 barrel bluff, and river bluff
In hand 1 just check fold the flop. You could 3 bet pre if you felt he was wide and then cbet but you're better off calling pre and check folding. In hand 2 I don't mind leading the turn at all. I just check sigh call the river. In games against bad players don't focus on what you are representing, focus on what they have, because most players are nowhere near good enough to have any sort of read on what you're doing or representing. Actually in hand 2 I don't think you're deep enough to flat pre even with a good price OOP. I just fold pre.
