Re:Slowplaying AA on Stars...
You can't blame the site for losing when slowplaying you AA. by not making it more expensive to see the flop, your inviting worse hands to get a cheap shot at cracking your aces. I would say that you're probably losing most often when slowplaying from early position, so maybe save your slowplays for when your in late position, and especially when it it raised before you act

Re:$27 DS to the $1050 WCOOP non-turbo
any of those hands could easily outflop you. also you have to think that if the board double pairs, your losing to 5-2

Call or fold?
about 300 people left in the tourney at the time, top 50 stack after being very shortstacked when the money bubble broke. I had been at the table for quite awhile, as had many of the people at the table, so I think I had a pretty good table image. Re:Has the luck factor in poker increased - a discussion
I think another factor contributing to this trend is a lot of players do not understand the real value of their hand. I see a lot more people raising/playing small suited connectors from early position, shoving with any pocket pair, no matter how small, "making moves" that don't make any sense in the current hand situation. Basically it just comes down to people overplaying there hands. In recent days my big pairs have been reraised by 44, J6 suited, AJ, and tons of other hands that I wouldn't even play. Cliff's notes: 1. people are overplaying their hands/don't ...

Re:Anyone else ever play 8 Game Mix?
i played the WCOOP 8 game proving grounds tourney yesterday, and it was a good tourney but a very slow structure. If your gonna play one of these, make sure there is a good prizepool, cause I got 3rd last night, and only made $40 for a 11 hour tourney

Re:Help, I have trust issues in poker - a worthwhile discussion
The first hand seems more a bad beat, as anyone calling a raise pre with 74 is probably losing more than they win. The second hand isn't great, i might not have even played the 2's, as not every pocket pair is playable, all the time (unless your a micro player who plays atc).

I have had nothing but problems with this since I got it. I recommend to anyone thinking about getting this to wait until they get a working version that you don't have to debug yourself.

Re:Need info about Los Angeles
The bike has a hotel you can stay at, otherwise there are tons of hotels in the surrounding area. Since you are renting a car, I would recommend staying in one of the beach cities or somewhere in the southbay. Just remember its way hotter in the valley's in august than by the beach.
