Re(3): Letter to my congresswoman i think he is talking about to me... i was more referring to some long ass post i read a couple of days ago that took 20 minutes to read where all the guy did was swear and say how is moving to Canada.... Should have been more clear about that. My main point is about how the original poster articulated his point very well with logical, debatable points. A congressman/woman has to address someone like him that brings up valid arguments and does not attack the congressman/woman presonally or use vulgar language. Personally, I live in Canada but i care about this stuff just as much as any ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Letter to my congresswoman I gotta say that was very well written. You came across as an intelligent person. You are someone i would want fighting for my cause. anybody that sends long rants and fuckoff type messages to their congress people are just adding fuel to the fire. I think that the US government needs to realize that internet gambling is not only done by degenerates. There are Dr's, lawyers, accountants and every other professional imaginable playing online gambling. that has to be well represented. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): My Two Cents on the gambling ban. O Canada! Our home and native land! True patriot love in all thy sons command. With glowing hearts we see thee rise, The True North strong and free! From far and wide, O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. God keep our land glorious and free! O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. O Canada, we stand on guard for thee. I am not anti-american. I love Americans, the US bla bla bla but man Canada is so much better it is scary. Shit like this would not fly here. The gaming commission is 45 minute drive from my house. Re(4): Top 5 Fav Pro Poker Players I love this topic: In no particular order: Devilfish: That guy is a badass mofo. Marcel Luske: He is hysterical to watch. people actually suck up to him at the table Phil Ivey: It is actually an honor to watch him play. He is gifted Erik Seidel: I respect his game a tremendous amount. I think he is one of the most feared guys in poker. He is a tremendous player Doyle Brunson: He is a living legend. He is the Ric Flair of poker. Many have come and gone but Doyle has stuck around. I hope he sticks around playing for years to come. Hate: 1) he is from season 2 of the WPT and talks about ... Re(2): UGH BAX Les.... You serious' As far as i read it was 2 overcards, nut flush draw and a staight draw. Bax was actually the dog there (by a small margin). Both players played the hand properly. If Bax had QQ there or something he was a 40%. Not a donk play by either player. Good poker and 1 person won and the other one lost Cheers, Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Gidders.com Is Closing Gidders, Never used your site, never watched you play, never seen a video, but i have read a lot of your posts. You are clearly a bright kid. I am happy for you. A lot of people don't realize that poker is not a wise career move for MOST people. I was in your boat, i got caught up the poker craze for a long time and it affected my social life, relationship, job and school work. While I never was at a level comparable to the pros i had a lot of accomplishments that i was and still am very proud of. Accomplishments that make you think that you can become a pro. Re(5): Poker segment on NBC news good point Ollie. Granted, I am Canadian so this ban would not really affect me in the same way. The quanawake gaming commission (however you spell it) is about 40 minutes from where I live in Montreal. The Quebec government mixed in with the hells angels here run a nice little business. Banning online gaming is not a solution. Obviously people love poker and should be allowed to play from the comfort of their own home. I do think though that a lot of people underestimate how serious a gambling addiction can be. It is a very serious problem for those who get addicted. I find a lot of ... ENCINO ALERT....TODD PLEASE RESPOND Email from Encino.... Hi everyone, Since it's been almost a week since my last e-mail to Paradise and they have completely blown me off (no response whatsoever) I'm not playing Turquoise tonight and I'm not going to ask any of you to play it, either. I'm getting rather pissed off that they won't even respond to e-mails. Has anyone else gotten a response' It appears to me that they CLEARLY don't give a rat's ass. Thanks to all who tried to help. I give up. See you on the tables. E Todd what is the latest' Encino giving up makes me a sadddddddddddd panda bear Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): Encino 44 touraments.... I am glad this thread got rolling. 70 more days till i am off work for 6 months to study. A nice present during my 6 months off would be to have a nighly tournament so i can study for my CA exam (CPA equivalent to you Americans) and take a nice nighly break. The best thing for me about Encino tournaments was proving to myself that i could play with the big boys. I am a 24 year old student/worker who does not have the time to commit to poker like a lot of other players. I have been playing for 8 years, my first 6 there was no such thing as a poker boom. i was every opponents dream, i played ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Encino 44 touraments.... All former players, petition to paradise to get this private tournament back again. It is quite unfortunate that it no longer is running. Encino is very loyal to paradise poker and wants to keep the tournament there. There have been some of the best players online that played this tournament. Great competition and great challenge. i for one miss it. NSXT2, please bring this up to paradise poker. Some of the best paradise players around used to play this thing. Re(3): OK Todd... this is a problem Hey Todd, I know you used to play the encino 44 tournament. Encino is having a real hard time getting this tournament going again. He used to attract twice a night between 14-30 players. Thats $4 a pop for each person that played practically 300 nights of the year. I don't see why paradise is being so stubborn on this issue... Just at least bring it up to them. Thanks, Schnerbs Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): What Really Happened... I was part of the F cheaters and F JJ posts. I have to say this, F party poker. What JJ did is like saying Barry Bonds is not the HR champion cause he took steroids, sure he took the fucking steroids but at that time nobody cared, nobody noticed and nobody did a fucking thing about it. Let JJ keep his money, he earned it. Party Poker is acting like they caught a rat. They didn't catch shit, Mantis made a MISTAKE as Action Jeff pointed out when he said shhhhh or something along those lines. Party Poker only caught JJ cause of P5's. They offer no security that other people won't do this. F ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

the saddest thing to me is this.... I don't exactly know the entire "the beat" self promoting story but i can remember from reading here how basically everyone gave him shit for self promoting from 3 different P5 accounts basically so that he could get some sort of sponsorship deal. My comment then was that it was a shitty thing for the beat to have done. In hindsight, fuck that, if the beat comes to P5's and says that he is great and has dummy accounts that says he is great, so be it. At least he didn't play in any of those tournies with the dummy accounts. I remember that everyone gave the beat hell for what he did. In ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(2): interesting hand from australia...not mine... I am no pro but i tend to agree with GambleAB here, his logic is the exact logic i would use. I don't see many people coming over the top with a boat. There just aren't enough hands out there that beat me. At absolutely worst the guy has QQ or 22 a very weird push if he had those hands. Perhaps he was playing small suited connectors like 4-5 and figured he could pull a beautiful semi-bluff BUT that would give him only 4 outs against Mr. BB because the A would give a boat. I actually think the cutoff played this hand as if he had a high PP like AA or KK, in that case, i insta call. I think ... Posted in: Poker Discussion |
