Re(3): DuckU owning UBOC
This is an inside joke that has nothing to do with the JJ you are thinking of. I agree that they should not be compared though.

Re(3): DuckU owning UBOC
MeanGene.....I was wondering if you could encourage someone at UB to update the UBOC leaderboard on the web site. There is a link that says leaderboard, but there are no standings. Seems kind of silly to have this big promotion about a series of events and then have no standings available. The other thing I was wondering is about the 100K. It has been reported differently by various sources. I have seen some say that it is 100K to the series champ (or should I say DuckU/Wild Duck), but have also seen that it is 100K total with 30K to the series champ. Do you have the correct information or ...

DuckU owning UBOC
Following his win in Event #2 last night.....He is now in the final 4 of Event #4 ($200 NL) and the final 2 tables of Event #5 ($500 NL). The guy is making the UBOC his own personal playground

DuckU UBOC - 100rebuy
DuckU just took down UBOC event #3 - 100rebuy for 29K. Puts him in solid position to make a run at the points title. Honestly wouldn't suprise me at all if he took it down. The guy just might be my hero for his consistently great tourney play. Plays fewer tournaments than most other bigtimer's, but still seems like he scores every week.

Re(5): Gus Hansen donk play in Main Event
I know you're a superstar and all Waco, but for being the guy who just ripped the thread starter with a "this thread sucks" call, I've got to say your comment here is pretty ridiculous. Of course he isn't saying that 50% of the time the guy is dealt pairs, he's saying 50% of the time he makes a 11x re-raise all-in he has a pair. While that number may be a little high - I would estimate between 35-50% depending on the player - it is certainly not 10-15%. I know the cool thing to do on this board is to rip on other peoples threads and comments, so let me just add: "Your Reply Sucks." As for ...

Re(3): MGM Grand is a joke - don't stay there
Just to back up some of what has been said here....I had a huge problem with the MGM front desk manager recently. The guy had zero class, was in the wrong, represented himself as being at a level he wasn't and forced me to go over his head for results. I don't know if they train these guys to try and screw people out of promised discounts (my issue was actually quite similar) or if the people they hire are just incompetent jerks.....but either way I will not be returning to the MGM Grand. There are too many places to stay in Vegas to put up with this sort of garbage.

DuckU - final table of Tilt 1K buy-in
DuckU is third in chips at the final table of the Tilt 1K right now. Another big event result by a ridiculous player. I do have it on good authority however, that he got crushed in the 1-2 NL game at the MGM Grand the other night (there may have been a gallon or two of alchohol involved in those results though).

DuckU back at it
Just talked with DuckU after seeing he took down a $100 rebuy on UB tonight. Despite it only being a 54 player field, it's always solid to pick up wins and $5500 is a nice little cash. The impressive thing is that he also played a $200 Aruba qualifier with 70 players, which awarded one seat and he took that down as well ($8500 package). If you were wondering why he hadn't made any noise the last couple weeks, he was on a cruise in the Mediteranean.......Must be nice. I know he will be joining the gang of pocket 5'ers playing Series events in the near future and it really wouldn't suprise me ...

Re(2): Interview with DuckU---is his accomplishment the greatest ever in online poker?
Best ever until the three-peat next week... I was joking when I wrote that, because it so completely and totally absurd.... But so was winning twice in a row, so GO DUCK take it down again. I've got to agree and say it's the most impressive back-to-back ever. You are the man Greg.

Re(1): DuckU
I know Greg very well and just had to add my congratulations to this post......Just an unbefreakinlievable accomplishment to go back-to-back! Though he consistently rolls in 10-20 NL cash games, I actually think he is a better tournament player than cash player. Just my opinion and I've played a lot of both with him. He's an outstanding reader of betting patterns and makes very few mistakes.....You have to beat him, cause he's not going to beat himself. Mostly it's best to just avoid him. CONGRATS AGAIN DUCK!
