I mean hypothetically lets say I will work for another 50 years. Im 26 right now so thats "retiring" at 76. 5M / 50 years = 100,000 per year. Unless the US government wants me to pay taxes on my alien hypothetical gift, that would be the equivalent of what, a $160,000 a year salary assuming ~40% in taxes' So assuming zero investment opportunities, and retiring at the age of 76, I would have to live my life in the same fashion that someone who earns ~$160k per year for the next 50 years does. If they actually played each other, its very likely 2012's team would be a significant favorite, and I think most would agree. But come on you can't really do that. Every single year players are smarter better faster stronger and more skilled than the year before. Relative to their time period is the only basis for comparison.

Every single NFL player gets removed from their team and put into a free agent pool. 32 GMs snake draft every player in the NFL for the sole purpose of winning the Superbowl for the 2012 season. I don't think Eli is the 4th QB drafted. I don't even think Eli is the 6th QB drafted. Call me crazy yik but meh.

Are you really naive enough to think the idol made that alliance' baahhaha Colton is awesome. Tarzan and Colton are both smart as hell I hope they run this game. The editing made Colton look like a clueless unaware idiot in the first episodes but they finally showed hes not. He is fully aware of himself and how the people on his tribe perceive what he is doing (regarding the other tribe, him not fitting in, etc) - and is successfully communicating his actions. I just hope his drama queen tendencies don't make things too difficult and he can keep the emotion out of it.

I know you cant see the entire picture from a few stats, but Paul George went from 20.7 MPG at 13.06 PER to 31.0 MPG at 15.18 PER Ryan Anderson went from 22.3 MPG at 19.09 to 31.1 MPG at 22.71 PER Ryan Anderson also went from a rotation off the bench guy to the #2 scoring option / crunch time player. His improvement is greater at a higher level. I don't think its much of an argument to be honest.

I would assume its much more difficult to go from a solid player to a borderline all-star than it is to go from a complete random to a solid player. Ryan Anderson has a higher PER increase than both Teague and George and it came at a higher level of play. If Jeremy Lin continues exactly what he has done over the last 12 games for the rest of the season he will very likely win it. But with his game against Miami and his declining numbers overall I'm not convinced it will.
