Re:KQ on button with UTG+2 limper early in DS tourney
It's a $2 tourney, you can outplay that guy in your sleep. Just limp along and keep the pot small, you'll be able to control pot size post flop. As played I'm ok with your call there, your opp is not going to fold if he has any pair or any piece of the flop.

Re:Snap Call or Fold Here with AQ; Argument with Friend
Your M would still be at 10 or less, yeah I'd still call with AQ. Might even call up to 40BB's if the SB is a Scandi ;-)

Re:Snap Call or Fold Here with AQ; Argument with Friend
That survival thing strategy might work for Hellmuth, but your not surrounded by star struck idiots throwing chips at you. AQ is insanely ahead of his range to put you in from the sb, instacall.

I'm not sure if it's collusion or not, but it is blatant stupidity on whichever of your opps has the larger stack. They should of been shoving every hand.

Re:New here and doing the "Ferguson Challenge".
Best of luck to you, but as someone that railed Chris during his "challenges" starstuck morons just throw chips at him cause his name is "Chris Ferguson". So it won't be an easy thing to do even if your on your "A" game. Just play well and within your bankroll and you'll be fine.

Re(1): Is this ever a good play?? (Bubble of $60 turbo sng)flaming is allowed
I could be wrong here, i'm not a big ICM guy. But I thought this was a fine call. pareshjains range has been established as ATC making our KTo a 60% favorite vs. a random hand. Fourty % of the time we will bubble, but the other 60% we scoop a 8300 pot and become the new table capt and a big favorite to take down the sng. ICM gurus feel free to correct me if i'm off here.

Re(1): Playing AK late in tournaments... HELP!
Against most hand ranges here your going to be around 40% to win here with AK and your getting 2-1 on your chips. I'm suprised anybody recommends folding here, get em in the middle and donk it up ! Theres more luck in these things then any of us would like to believe.

Re(1): Did I play this hand too hard?
You had over 11 BB's in your stack. Too early to make a risky play like this IMO. Anytime you have a limper in a sng on or past level 4 your FE isn't as good as you think. Glad this one worked out for ya obv.

Re(1): sng question - doubling up early
You never really want to limp with AK. Sure we all want to see a flop with it, but problem with limping is you will be seeing a flop with 5-6 other limpers and even if you hit your TPTK it's risky the flop nailed another limper even harder. I'm actually ok with your push. Assuming this was a low buy in stt the amount of guys that will gamble with their stacks with AT-AQ, KJ-KQ in the low buy in's will more then offset the amount of times your a small dog to a pair or get nailed by KK/AA.

Re(1): We might all be screwed anyway with signing
This should be least of your concerns. IP blocking is very very easy to get around. The ISP is not going to allot costly resources to get in a measure/counter measure war. They need merely to show a good faith effort to comply with the law. Heres more from: / Another problematic aspect of the bill will require federal authorities to provide Internet service providers with a list of gambling sites to be blocked, a scheme that Sinclair said has previously proven futile. When Google and Yahoo agreed to block Internet gambling ads in response to a lawsuit filed in California, the betting site ...

Re(1): Turbo SNGs general gameplan and strategy ----
Very nice numbers. Although it does sound like you are on a bit of a rush. I wouldn't expect to keep up a 34% ROI over time. The turbo stt's on stars are my grind'style game of choice also. Very beatable. I like you are on the cusp of moving from the 6.50 to the 16's. What I recommend you'd do is what i've found sucessful is playing the 16's between 6p - midnight eastern time. During those hours your more likely to get tables with weaker players. Outside of those hours I still play the 6.50's. SNGPT = sit and go power tools, yahoo or google it and you'll find the details. See you at the ...

Sometimes it does come down to winning a coinflip. But by playing tight early just as often you'll be a favorite in your first big pot. Thats your edge.
