simple preflop spot vs SCtrojans
yeah, jokes aside i think flatting and 4-betting are both fine. sometimes 4-bet/folding is good, sometimes 4-bet/6-betting is good. anything other than fold preflop is fine at certain times, depending on game flow history etc etc etc is a good spot to post in that respect, but essentially all people are doing is giving away their own personal tendencies if they answer :]

What are you doing here early in plo 6 max
you should definitely bet again here. your hand is too strong to not give yourself the ability to stack someone on the river. you can also get a good price on small river bluff to fold out other missed draws if you narrow the field to headsup now. and sure, good players will flat the flop to CRAI on a safe turn with a set... but guys in a $44 plo mtt are just donking around with garbage. must bet

simple preflop spot vs SCtrojans
yeah i dunno bro, can't think of anything else we can do. continuing with only ace high = crazy. flopping a pair and calling more than one bet = crazy. and if we flop real big he probably has air anyway (since it's most of his range). i guess just fold pre

simple preflop spot vs SCtrojans
obviously if we miss the flop just fold, we can't continue with just ace high that would be crazy

Simple ROI question
if you're looking to figure out what a solid ROI is, why are you looking up the most successful players in the game' if you want to look at people who have run at expectation, why are you looking up the first people that come to mind' (obviously there's a reason they come to mind, they have won some especially big stuff...)

From cash to mtt
haha pretty funny to see you post here there's a series called 'things it took me a while to learn' by bond18 that has a lot of good basic tourney specific stuff. you should read that. other than that, honestly the best thing is just logging a lot of volume. you will figure stuff out pretty fast, mostly just need to learn how to pushbot, how to be patient and not go after every spot (really hard when most people play so badly and cash has trained you to go after every last tiny edge you can see) and the way people tend to play. if you spend a while logging volume and working on your ...

alot of brand new accounts making WCOOP final tables wtf ???
if someone with previous ABI 30 or similar over a recent sample plays really sick down the stretch of a prestigious tournament, it's suspicious. but if someone has hardly played any tourneys before on stars and they show up out of nowhere playing really well, it's much more likely they are just a cash game player that would never bother playing regular tournaments but will commit themselves to playing a few WCOOP's. ESPECIALLY if they are european. most of the best players in the world are not grinding MTTs week in and week out.

Re:Poker, mental fortitude & (lack of) emotions
it goes both ways though - your personality being predisposed to that sort of mental/emotional detachment probably went a long way towards you finding and getting decent at poker, too
