Re:12 turbo shve or fold
nice post OP....I play a lot of these and I like to see reg's opinions...I fold here, just because i think in these you can actually get to about 6-7 BB and still have good enough FE...Just my opinion....however, I do see the flip side....When called, you don't play horrible agains 22-99, Q10, QJ, etc....

I think you should have gotten your info on the flop by raising him so you don't have this situation on the river with a much bigger pot

Re:Playing against an isolalation raise w/88
regardless of his "iso re raise range", this is undoubtably a fold....With your stack, I don't think you need to get in these situations for maybe being ahead, likely racing.....assuming he calls......I think fold is correct here....you have plenty of time to get yourself in better spots to scoop chips

i think fold here, only because how many chips you have and how many you have only committed...I try to avoid tough decisions like this early, no matter the hand... I think you're good enough to chip up other ways IMO

Thanks for your thoughts.....I ended up checking here....found there wasn't any value gained by betting river...IMO, the worst card fell on river making the K10 a straight, obv spade flush, and some kind of better two pair...I was happy with taking this decent pot for the levels

Re:SCT, what do you do here?
1 - if you are an unknown amateur basketballer then getting advice from ANY pro (even if it's not lebron) or even a college player will be useful to you. There are many people on this site that can help you with your game. math, hope you're not butt hurt too, but is there something wrong with asking a specific person a specific question' My mistake on not sending a PM, but someone is more prone to looking in poker discussion rather than PM box if its not from someone like yourself, AJK, Moorman, ETC... was tryin to get analysis from him as well as others and I appreciate it. ...

thanks gboro, you don't owe anything IMO...just a nice gesture... anyway, what would be the best way to reach out for poker help, strategy on a personal level like many of the top ranked players have; when you live in a tiny town, and don't have a bankroll and can't play live events it seems very hard to reach out to ppl. sorry for kinda weird question, but curious'

FWIW......if you want to improve your skills at say basketball....Are you going to go to some random small high school and ask one of the guys to help improve your game, or, it you have the access, ask a division one play to help you improve your game.... I asked for Scott's advice, not even thinking twice, if its "douchish" or considering the hearts I broke or the butt's ive hurt by not including "everybody", no I WANTED HIS ADVICE.....Nobody gets pissed when Person A is at a live event discussing strategy with person B.....Is person C a douche for coming over ...

thank you to all that gave advice, sorry to come off by just calling for Scott...just didn't think he would actually comment and give advice unless asked. As for the rest that actually took the thread serious, i thank you. As for the jokesters, well, eventually this place will lose credit for being an "educational atmosphere." Some of you "big dogs" fail to understand that there are ppl not on that level that aspire to get there someday by reading and posting on there and I think the egotistical driven jokes on here are a bit ridiculous and immature....once again ...

---woulda definately re raised pre...don't really know you're line here...you allowed chico to come in hand with decent odds by just smoothing...I understand trying to play big pot, but seemed like you had no plan....i mean, were you only trying to hit set to proceed' pretty decent flop for KK if you ask me...Now, re raising pre almost always drives out chico, unless he has monster, and at that point you know a little more about your hand. Re:right play deep FT bubble...?
I think in this spot with 16BB, and 6 handed, its an obvious shove...he shoves, A4 won't call, likely...If you 2.3x it, gives him room to reship, giving him some equity...shove all day here, way more profitable....they are not reshipping if you shove, but they are if you mini raise...
