Thanks for your pointers. Think I'm going to try out the 90/180 SNG (probably feels more like a smaller mtt) and mix it up and try to make the swings less and the game experience much much better. As you said, make the deeper ones count.

Time to break the virginity here at ! Been a member since summer -07 and have been playing poker on and off since -05. A couple of years ago I came second in a tournament at Betfair worth about $10k but since I were and idiot I blew everything away at useless stuff. But now I really wanted to try the mtt's scene and so I've been grinding the $11 or smaller buyins at Stars and Full Tilt (mostly the $10k-$30kgtd freezout) on Stars, but I can't push through! There's such a big lineup every tournament (1k or more playing) and I keep coming barely itm but never any final table. I ...
