To player from Cyprus - Online gambling to be banned?
Just read a few articles in local papers saying that Cypriot government putting through legislation banning online casino's and will start filtering online gambling sites. Do any players from Cyprus have any further information on this to say whether poker sites will be affected. It says in one article that it is doing it on the same basis as Portugal has, but obv Portugal excludes poker sites from this. Just wondering if anyone had some more details. tks

lost $5K on cash game hand with quad 3's cracked by quad Kings on river, then had 2 bottles vodka, bottle of valium, pissed away my entire $30K bankroll on tilt over 3 hours, took more valium, woke up in hospital, then went bankrupt

Chan POker $150K Gteed busted hand, advice?
Playing the 150K Gteed last night on Chan poker and busted in 148 place with this hand. Can only do brief summary as can't get h history. Blinds are 200/400, position BB, chip stack 5033 All fold round to SB who min raises my blind for the 5th or 6th consecutive time and is playing loose with some hands he has shown down prev. He has round 15k in chips. Decide to play back this time with A4os by re-raising all in. He called and flips 10 7os, and obv hits 2 pair on flop and i'm gone. Is it just me or is that a wild call there for a third of his stack with only 800 invested'
