What are you doing now without online poker?
Paying more attention to my full-time job. Getting 8 hours of sleep a night. Bitching to my wife that I don't know how I'm going to live having to listen to her all night rather than throwing headphones in and playing on FTP or PS. Playing live on the weekends. Realizing that the live pokerz is boring beyond belief.

Just remember: US is also the first two letters in USSR. The US is on its way to socialism. Don't want a job' Sure! We'll just take it from the people that work, give it to you, and then not regulate where you spend it. I swear the US is in for a big downfall soon.

Black Sunday!What did you do on the first sunday with no grind?
Played live at Mohegan Sun in CT. Realized that people don't fold in da live pokerz....at all....ever......QJ decided to call off a bazillion chips on a QT5 rainbow flop, and smash K, A to my TT. Old guy who has no clue: "Gotta see all 5 to win"

more loose....good english :-P This is why god created earbuds. I play and when I bust, I shake hands, and get on my merry way. No use telling someone they played a hand well/bad/indifferent. Won't change the way the cards ran out.

Is going broke inevitable?
I'll go out on a limb and say at least 50% of pro players (non-sponsored) invest their money in stocks, bonds, etc. just like the typical 9-5'er. No evidence to back that up, but maybe some of the pros can chime in with a "yes i do that." As for me, I know I suck and love to play poker, and I make enough where I can blow a few bucks now and then playing. YW for the donation to the community :-P

Do you track your flip percentage?
I had never run a "flip" excel sheet before but I felt I was running hurendous so I decided to do it over a small sample size just to see what I was running. And for the definition of a flip, I was taking any overcards vs. PP (AIPF). So even when I was shoving light on the button w. QT and the SB or BB was calling w/ 99 or worse PP (or vice-versa), this was my definition of a flip. So yes, there were plenty of 58/42's in that 100 sample size but most were the 52/48's of QQ v. AKs, JJ v. AQs, etc. etc. Do you still have this tool' I would love to run it.

Losing touch with reality because of poker
I don't know what it's like to have a child, but I can speak on behalf of my wife. She and I have arguments where I brush it off and move on. She thinks it's because I do the same thing in poker when I take a bad beat and shrug it off. I personally know poker has impacted my social life at certain times, especially with my wife. We'll be sitting around and the mood to do something will strike her, and we can't go out because I'm deep in an MTT. When I have kids, I'm pretty sure I'll play even less poker because I just won't have the time. IMO -- Play cash tables if you don't have the time ...

Do you track your flip percentage?
Decided to track my "flip" percentage (All-in pre-flop only). I ran at 31% over a 100 flip sample size. Do I have a heater coming soon or do I just run that bad' Pretty convinced it's "I RUN WORSE THAN A DRUNK TURTLE" but wanted to hear others thoughts. I remember Graps wrote an article a while back about "who's the guy that never runs good'" Yup, it's me.

What is a good ITM rate in MTTs?
cash less, win more. ITM percentage will take care of itself. Play for the win baby. All that matters in MTTs. In SNGs, in the money matters more.

Multi-Entry Strategy
Played one of these for the first time and got to thinking: Should you play a differenst strategy on 1 of the tables to try and get a psycho big stack' I figure playing one table super-aggro and the rest of them normal, it gives you a shot with one of the entries to either bust early or run up a monster stack early.

I only play casually and I do the "cash out when doubled up" routine. I put in $100, when it gets to $200, cash out $100. Play with the $100 left on there worry-free.

AK to a 3-bet?
Legitimate question: We are in SB or BB with AK. UTG makes it 3x. Someone in middle position re-pops to a total of 8 BBs. When it gets to us, what is our move' Questions I ask in this situation: 1) Does our stack size matter' How do we play it with 10 BB, 25 BB, 30 BB, etc.' 2) When does it make sense to just open-fold' 3) What's our optimal line' 4) What if we all have the same amount of chips, or close to the same amount, say 30 BBs' Is our best move to shove, call, fold' One of the toughest spots I find myself in all the time. Was just curious if any MSMTT regs or HSMTT regs can weigh ...
