How many OT'ers have played in the WSOP ME?
I played in '09 and busted at the end of Day 3 (I think about 400 people away from ITM). Def do it if you have the chance. The morning I played Day 1 I woke up in time to watch the last hour or so of the Wimbledon Final when Feds beat Roddick in a marathon while I got room service and got my mind right for the day of poker. It ended just in time for me to go catch a cab and get to the Rio with a few minutes to spare. Great morning. You want to watch a great gambling degen movie?
An old degen movie is California Split with Elliot Gould from 1974. Prob worth a watch if you can identify with the highs and lows of gambling. Haven't seen or heard of this Owning Mahowny, will def have to check it out.

Earthquake?
first earthquake, was in the backroom of a grocery store in suburban maryland and things were def swaying/moving including the roof. at first thought a truck nailed the dock way too hard. went to back to work right after like nothing happened. vastly underestimated the amount of panic from ppl in this area.

Lost my engagement tonight
Don't some of you remember when that guy on the bodybuilding forums threatened suicide and then killed himself by overdosing on webcam while people posted insults/encouragement for him to do it' I'd much rather be called a pussy offering empathy and support than be on the other side of the coin. We all go through tough times and need some support. No man is an island.

FWIW Dustin is fine, exchanged a couple texts with him earlier this hour after I came across this thread. Thought about just letting Dustin post whenever he came back onto P5s but some seemed legitimately worried about his well-being. Also +1 on MUPPs sentiments

I don't care about the NBA much at all but I just have to say LeBron James. He's the anti-clutch and a whiny little bitch. Between the decision, the pep rally, and his arrogant comments after he just got owned once again in the NBA finals talking about people have to wake up tomorrow to their same problems and he's gonna live how he wants etc. Seeing him never got a ring would just be too sweet. I do think he's the best player in the world the first 3/4 of a basketball game and will get plenty of rings though.

Jim Riggleman quits as Nationals manager
Listen Mike Rizzo claimed Riggs gave an ultimatum to sign his extension or he won't get on the bus. Riggs says he didn't. If you look at there statements they are far enough apart that someone simply is not telling the truth. I believe Riggs, he has far less motivation than Rizzo to spin what was said. Riggs wanted a conversation when they got to Chicago. He had asked to talk with Rizzo about the future a couple times before. Rizzo once again said he wasn't ready. It's a reasonable request. He wanted a conversation and wasn't prepared to move forward without it. Rizzo didn't have the respect ...

Jim Riggleman quits as Nationals manager
According to Riggleman he didn't say pick up the option or I walk. He said when they got to Chicago it was time to have the conversation, Rizzo said he wasn't prepared to have the conversation and Riggs wasn't prepared to continue managing without even been given the courtesy to talk with the GM about the future.
