Well, I'm assuming this is from 3-4 years ago, probably from a time before I considered myself a "pro," but I still don't remember ever getting "ugly" on anybody in chat, ever. If you could find a chat transcript from Stars to support your claim, or even another player who could accuse me of berating them, I'd happily admit to being an asshole. Can you guys stop acting like dicks after losing a hand, etc? I'm not taking it personally, I'm taking it professionally. I wasn't in the hand, nor was the person I was sweating. Criticizing opponents--doing anything other than making poker a light, fun environemnt for random people--is bad for business, and I think a lot of pros have forgotten that. It's also so routine for professional MTT players to take beats for large amounts of equity, that I believe it's a basic discipline to be able to refrain from making snide comments in reaction. Mman, imo they're both similarly bad if they make people have less fun or feel more weird and uncomfortable about playing poker, or if it causes the tone of the game to become more serious. F david williams,Nenad seemed nice but JFC I never said PBDrunks came on here and made up "a completely false story," what I'm saying is that there is ALWAYS more to the story, especially when there is alcohol and a nightclub involved. As much as you can't imagine PB's (rather vague) version of the story being untrue, I can't imagine Nenad having this reaction to a few spillt drops of alcohol. That's the premise of the OP, and I refuse to take it at face value. Bill and Gboro and everyone, I really only called out Jcamby because I thought he would take it the right way, and it wouldn't spin out into some extra drama, and we could just discuss the issue...also, just because the bubble of a big FT is logically the sort of place where a comment from a top pro would stand out to the general public. Again, I only used JCamby as an example because I respect him as a person and think he's the sort of dude that should set an example for people like Sheets. First of all, let me say that I know David Williams pretty well (we're not close friends, but we have hung out in a variety of situations, and I like him), I'm acquainted with Josh (who has always seemed mellow and cool, but almost all my encounters were at the poker table), and I don't really know Nenad at all, but we have a lot of mutual friends. As Martine23 said (and I tried to make clear in my OP), I used JCamby because he's a mature and responsible person, and I didn't think he would interpret my post as a personal attack. I guess everyone else interpreted it as a personal attack against Camby, so, I'm sorry. Also, it's by virtue of the fact that JCamby is a really nice, respectable pro that it stands out so much more distinctly when he says "Wp moron" or whatever, and it is more jarring than if a Random says it. His analysis is flawed because all the hands he thinks are unlikely are at least somewhat likely. (The frustrated 2K throw-in is a MASSIVE mistake, but we'll omit that for now).
