Mad Men Season 5
Layne has always just been meh to me, nothing special but obviously not a bad character or anything. Him fighting Pete was awesome but beyond that his story isn't super interesting to me. Joan was awesome yelling at the secretary. Pretty good episode overall, I've been trying to come up with some predictions for the end of the series but honestly I don't know what to expect.

+1, you don't have any obligation to get pets from a shelter. Obviously its nice to adopt strays or whatever is found at the shelter but I wouldn't feel bad if I could afford a purebred and that's what I wanted.

Totals ytd: 5-6 Spreas ytd: 4-6-1 Overall ytd: 9-12-1 PHI +2, U188.6 WAS/TOR U184 MIL -4.5, O183 MEM +9 NYK/BOS, U182.5 PHO/HOU U199.5 IND/DAL, U188.5 DEN -4 Pretty bad start and my totals seem to be coming out pretty heavy on the under side so prolly back to the lab on that. Obviously should have something in place saying if Portland is only 3 pt favs vs Sacramento, run like hell.

Agreed it should be an important part, and I'm not ignoring it but like I said its been hard to quantify certain injuries. There is some okay data available on how teams perform off certain amounts of rest but once again its hard to properly factor.

Alright I've been working on a model for a while now and I think it's ready to give a go. Been testing it through the season and tweaking it and its done okay so I'm going to track it here. It picks most totals for the day and a handful of spreads. ORL -10, U184.5 PHI +1.5 BOS -9, U173 NJN -6.5 IND/MIN U195.5 MIA/MIL O195.5 PHO/NO U183 OKC/DAL U197 POR -15, O183.5 UTA +2 I still don't have it accounting properly for any injuries or for scheduling such as playing back to backs, but other than that I'm pretty satisfied with it so far.

Weird stuff you've read in OT that you have used in real life.
+1 to this Also told my wife one night "come at me bro" but she heard it as "commend me bro". I now use commend me bro all the time after doing simple tasks. Just adding something else that should catch on immediately.

Wisdom Teeth
Had mine out as a teenager, no real problems until about 2 days after. I got 2 dry sockets which was the worst. Took me a little bit to realize, but after I was still feeling pain while on some vicodin, I went got it checked out and he told me I had the dry sockets. They stuck some pad in them which hurt so so bad when it went in, and also had a super weird taste. It did however fix all of my pain which was nice. I don't think it was anything I did wrong to get the dry sockets and I definitely have a high pain tolerance so this was kind of a weird feeling. cliffs: Don't get a dry socket
