Nevada Online Poker
I have read that you do not need to be a resident of Nevada to play but have to be present in the state to play. They will allow tourists to play online if they choose.

It is not that difficult to connect the dots from a skin to Merge. I am sure skins have access to members of the Merge Security team (i know lol @ Merge Security) and others with the power to manipulate the games. You DO NOT NEED PROOF to realize that there is a financial interest that exists that creates a conflict of interest. The T&C explicitly state that there should be no relationship between affiliates and the games offered FOR A REASON. WOW at the excuses and lack of demand for more transparency.

The conflict of interest exists because the skin is in place to make sure their players are playing according to their T&C. An example... Makes no sense to back a player with a ticket into a 100c and no ability to rebuy/addon. Why not give the player the $ to rebuy/addon' Sirswish stated that to his knowledge the skin/affiliates was paying full value of the ticket to Merge. Why pay the full $109 to the 100c and not buyin/addon unless you have an abundance of tickets that you didn't/don't pay $109 for. Evechad, is the 100c the only tournament you notice this is'

I am not advocating for punishment for the people receiving the tickets as part of the backing agreement. I simply feel that it should not be allowed to happen and the fact that is has been without transparency is a joke. Merge should recognize this situation for what it is and stop it. Edit: No punishment given all the information for who is getting the tickets is released as well as confirmation that soft play/collusion has not occurred.

I guess the baby will break it down for the grown up as your post is hypothetical and a bit ignorant. In the situation you presented you don't address the problem which is a skin backing a tournament player creating a conflict of interest. Giving away free tickets is not the problem. The skin is essentially providing itself with an interest in the outcome of the games being played rather than simply collecting a fee (rake) for hosting the game.

Obv a lot of people have left the site but why are the people still playing there not talking about the change in payout structure' The smaller payouts to top 3 is a huge deal. It isn't just the smaller fields since the new software, they have changed the payout structure completely making a min-cash more valuable and a win worth much less. PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK, cosign'

It appears this isnt happening across the board but it is definitely happening in some mtts, lobby lists the payout structure before the tourney starts, so if u care be sure to look first.

Love the software but how can you possibly implement such bad ideas in it. Live poker isnt anonymous, if you develop a history playing with someone you should be able to draw upon those experiences and use them to your advantage. So SAD about these changes...
