Re(1): Greatest Poker PERSONALITY
Ok, I like Marcel Luske, Men and Scotty, but I can't believe no one has mentioned the most entertaining personality of all from last year I think-- Elix Powers! --You called me with Jack high! I ain't never been called by Jack high! Maybe not your cup of tea, but definately made for good tv in the limit event.

Re(3): No Limt Pro/Tenninespades - PLEASE READ!!!
To be fair, NSX you did defend him initially while still under the assumption he was a good guy, gave him credibility by helping him separate himself from the earlier scam under a different alias ( I forget which, haven't been reading the saga in a while) and as a broker of this situation often appeared to be defending NLP. That said I think your intentions were ALWAYS honest and forthright, and your integrity shouldn't be questioned in the slightest. You were unfortunate to be duped along with many other people.

Re(1): HOW MUCH $$$ YOU MAKE?
You might get some answers if you asked for an hourly rate (BB/hr) or an ROI%, but probably not $$ totals. I don't play limit much and if I did I couldn't play that high. GL

Umm, are you playing Sitngos of Omaha8 with fixed blinds' Are you playing this exclusively, or is this just an experiment with $500 in this game (a small portion of your overall BR)' How did you lose the initial $100' Have you changed anything in these two wins, or did the cards just turn for you' GL

Re(1): I've got "groupie" love
I think this is honestly what this entire site is based upon, so I guess we've all got groupie love, right' Seriously, if you are taking this approach then anyone who calls you out or ridicules you for it is immature and not worth listening to. There are problems with railbirds everywhere, and especially online where the annonymity allows people to act like fools, but non-stalker, polite and discreet observers of the game should be welcome anywhere.

Re(4): My thoughts on the leader board, problems I see.
There is a site out there (FTPfan) which tracks every MTT on Full Tilt, records the results and assigns points accordingly. This site is skewed WAY to the low limit player as it gives points to freerolls, and the field is weighted much higher than the buy in. I only mention this because this site must have some sort of arrangement with FTP because this would be a ton of work without some kind of automatic updating process. This could be a possibility for anyone who wants to data mine for a hard and fast way to rank players statisticly. That said, I like the site, the rankings are fun and ...

Re(3): Just took down the heads up holdem matches on stars! I OWN!!
I agree-- aside from possibly losing a piece of vital info that may win you the match while on another table, heads up just requires attention too frequently, even if it's just to fold. Congrats on the win!

Re(2): Did any one else make 51 Final tables on Stars in the last 3 months? Didnt think so.......
If I played poker online 24/7 for 3 months on four computers with 5 tables each of $1-5 MTT and freerolls I would make approximately 7 final tables. WOW, Gank does indeed own. Nice work man.

shhhh... caps lock' "when you have a pot this size, by the time it gets to the button just about any two cards are worth the call" IF any two cards are worth the call, why not the BEST two cards' "AA is not a drawing hand" True, AA does not have as much chance to improve as say, JTs, but it also doens't NEED to improve. "I'm pretty good at putting people on hands but here it is almost imposible" Granted I'm terrible at limit and have a hard time reading players when all bets look the same, but I would say you are probably up agaisnt a couple big pairs and maybe a strong drawing ...

premium draws in the BB
How do you like to play AK, AQs in the big blind' I often find myself with these hands in the big blind and 3-4 limpers. I often check here, to A. see the flop and make my hand for free (assuming at least one limper is small PP) B. disguise the strength of my hand The disadvantages to this are allowing my opponents to see the flop cheaply as well, as they might be with suited connectors, pps, or any number of hands which might crack my big aces. Also with no preflop play I don't get much information, and lose that opportunity to define the hand. Any Thoughts' Pros/Cons'

Thank you for sharing this experience with us X, it sounds like you really made the most of your time over there. Despite the tragedy all around you, your life was enriched and you enriched the lives of those you were there to help. Good to know that this sort of thing can happen in the middle of a warzone.

I don't know about it being different at any limits-- what site are you referring to' At full tilt you can see all hands that played to show down. This is a great feature as it is easy to use and provides a lot of information on other players, as well as a tool to track your own game.

At the risk of starting a firestorm here: My solution would have saved a lot of lives... You're not serious are you' The hard work and sacrifice of real people like BigGun are all that made a bad idea turn out to have some positives. Could a BIG-ASS bomb have translated into free-elections' This requires manpower, and lots of it. BigGun, thank you for your service. As for the lack of patriotism I like to believe it's still out there. We Americans can seem quite superficial at times, but when the time comes we've got it where it counts. Peace, Moon

Re(1): Low/Low limit play...
I think the point here is that there are all types of players at all levels and it is up to you to learn their tendencies and act accordingly. If everyone always acted according to the book Dr. What'shisname would be right and all the money would end up in the rake. Also if YOU always play according to the book the all of your money will end up in the pockets of the best players who never get stuck in one gear. That said, f J10os
