Seems like a turbo format would make more sense. Anyone who has played these on another site have expectations on possible ROI. Seems like the rake would hurt.

Treasure Island Minnesota
My company is sending me out to Minnesota for a business conference so naturally I book a room at the nearest casino. Anyone ever been here' Any decent poker action' I will only be there Sunday-Wednesday. It is the Treasure Island Resort and Casino outside Red Wing, Minnesota.

How bad of a play was this?
I am new to the forums so I first want to thank everyone for their advice and the great posts I read here daily. Now onto the hand in question. There were 59 players left out of 1213 and I had been playing fairly tight. He had been doing a lot of limping and min. raising without anything special. With his min. raise utg I put him on a hand up to AJ or 99. Most likely I thought it was a small pp or suited connector. Hopefully I don't get a lot of flames for this. Re(1): US Poker Championship
US Poker Championship is at the Taj Mahal in AC and runs from Sep. 18th - Oct. 7th. Main event begins on Oct. 3rd. I am playing in the second event on Sep. 19th which is a $300+40 NL event. Just trying to get my feet wet playing live poker, not to mention I don't have the bankroll for the main event.

US Poker Championship
Hey guys, I just found this site and it looks like a great place to pick up some good info on poker. I am going to atlantic city to play in my first live event in September and was wondering what to expect. I am going to the Taj on Sep. 19th to play in the $340 NL Tourny. Anyone know how many people I should expect and what kind of structure this tourny should have' How long should this tourny last' Any tips for a rookie would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ernie
