good br managment and maybe investing in a poker training site are always a good starting point. also read and resopnd to threads in this forum and also try to post hands that have confused you at the tables.

Bankroll!
i say that you should deposit more money and grind some sngs for a while to get your br up, once you do this then the bad beats and the running bad dont hurt as much because you have a be enough bankroll to withstand the variance.

how do you balance poker and working out
im a college athelete so we have workouts at 6am monday tuesday thrusday friday and active rest periods on the weekend, i like the fact that i get up early and get it out of the way, olny downside is that i can only play mtts on tuesday night and the weekends but as for my weekly load im mainly 10 tableing sngs for about 4-5sets a day.

i agree with fink there are many ways you can get money on a site just watch out for d bag backers, you will never make any decent money and they will hassle you to death to make them money. if you find a good relationship with a backer it can be a big help.

SNG/Multitable SNG/MTT Bankroll Management Chart and Guide
Jennifear, quick question about the 6.50 single table turbos. it says that i only need 422 to play them. I feel this is a little thin to be playing these simply because i will probably be playing 8-10 tables at a time and i feel that is alot of my br on one session. Do you agree for players who are use to playing 8-10 tables should use maybe a 80 bi or a 100 bi strategy for the turbos' also will using a bigger amount of buy ins effect the way i should be cashing out and will it effect the way ill be able to move up. thank you for your great post hope you can help me. just for clarification ...

yes i have everything paid off.we did our splits AT 55 45 stakers favor. and i gave him stake back too. and he tries to impose this 200 fee which i feel is unreasonable. sorry if i was unclear in the previous post i was very heated and sorry if sometimes it got jumbled into a rant.

ok so here is my story: I was backed in the summertime to play 5.50stts i ended up doing well for the alloted time and made myself and my backer a decent amount of money, then school came around and i couldnt garentee to play as much and we decided to not make another agreement until later when i knew i could play more. and he said that he would be interested in a backing deal in the furutre. Fast forward to novemmber 10th and the semseter is coming to an end and i decide to make another deal with him, so we decide on a deal and i am very excided to play again. a few days pass and go to my ...

agreed i rather keep the money and the br boost, your risk wasnt a bad one tho it was a good shot but it all comes back to why you entered the satty inthe first place. did you want to enter to play the million or did you want to unreg for it and keep the money. but with 500 i def woulda unreg and start grinding some 10$ stts
