Re:cash hand - help
No, never check behind - you have no idea how often you'll be called with worse. And if you do bet a smaller amoutn DO NOT fold to a check raise.

Re(1): could I have possibly played this hand worse? (live 1/2)
FLop is fine - while its a nice draw your probably gettin called in a few spots (esp by the guy who limped Q7) and often times you won't improve - check/raise really gives you the oppertunity to get players off their hands that may be ahead of you as this point and of course you have at least some outs if called. Turn: kind of a small bet, but not aweful, hopefully someone raises you - calls down wth weaker S. To be results oriented, Q7 isn't folding for ANY AMOUNT on taht turn. Riv: I'm still betting here - not sure how much you had to call on the raise (don't feel liek looking back), but ...

Re(3): New to cash games- what would u do in this spot?
Played with that guy a bit last night - I'd say hands like KQhh (or any two hearts) are a good part of his range (which is definetly wider than a set, epecially considering your seeminly weak Cbet - and I even think a set is not too likely given the large size of his raise) but still not a great spot if two overs and hearts are the hands your hoping he has.

Re(1): Floating/Building BANK from scratch
Be a bit more patient, if your good you could build ur roll at .25/50, whether or not players are "sittng and sitting" or pushing every hand.

Re(2): WSOP Main Event Tonight!! What did Yang have when QQ folded???
Its not alwasy "out playing" if you simply don't realize you might be beat and push because you have JJ and the other guy happens to fold a better hand. I don't know that to be the case (haven't watched the guy play one hand) but its something to consider.

Re(2): UB checks question
Yea, I jsut sent UB a pretty long email. As is they are AT BEST the third best site out there. Do they possibly think that the few customers that they have are going to put money in ther accounts when they are going to lose $38 for every check withdrawn (at least in my case). No fucking way. i see they have a new 111% reload bonus - who cares if you just going to be losing it on the other end. I think I'm looking forward to the day (was it this past weekend') when they drop the 200K guarantee to 150K so that I can just delete the site from my computer.

Re(1): UB checks question
UPdate - Citizens charges a $30 fee for each foriegn check. Therefore not only are we losing the $8 cut that UB takes (no other sites do), but now some banks (at least Citizens) are tacking on $30 to each check - what the fuck! I'll ask again - any one else experiencing this' Coincidence that it is only UB that has this policy . . .

UB checks question
I jsut realized that my bank account has since deducted the UB checks I deposited a couple days ago and also appears to have charged me a fee ($30 for each check, I'm still in the process of figuring out why and what i going on), but I know there was a thread a few days ago about UB checks being drawn on Canadian banks. ANyone else have any problems with checks - or just that you had to wait an extended period of time for them to clear'

Same sentiments. Such bullshit. Any any check over 5k is broken into two checks, therefore i' guessing 2 $8 cuts.
