The reason you have money in savings making a low interest rate as opposed to paying off your house or something else with a higher interest rate is peace of mind. Nothing feels better than knowing you have 6-12 months of living expenses saved up in case of an emergency. Save up the emergency fund then pay extra on any debt. Relying on credit cards or a loan against your house is risky because of what happened in 2008. Many companies lowered/froze limits on borrowing which could leave you with no money or access.

I work for the USPS and know the details of this subject very well First of all as others have stated the USPS is self sufficient and does not run off of tax payer dollars. Second of all customer satisfaction polls are very high across the board concerning the USPS. The thing that hurt the USPS was when the recession hit mail pieces dropped like a rock and the PO had too many employees and too many offices for the much smaller amount of mail pieces. How many pushups can you do?
Maybe 100. I do 5 sets every tues at the end of my workout and the first 3 I do with my feet on an exercise ball, then the last 2 sets in the regular position and usually do around 50-60 each of the last two sets. In the army the perfect push up score for my age was 82 in 2:00, I did 95 one time and ran out of time before I hit failure

I'm def not trying to say the Raiders will finish with a better record but they could be better than a lot of people think. Their horrid QB play was the main reason they sucked so badly. If they can get average QB play they'll be a whole lot better.
