Bellagio Final Table!
So it was my 21st birthday yesterday. I played in te $1500 NL tourney at Bellagio, the first Fiesta el Lago event and made the final table. I'm goin in 7/9 but thats fine with me I was 11/11 and hit some cards to comeback. Final table starts today at 3. I'll let you guys know how I do. Some fun first day in Vegas for my birthday that's for sure. GL ME! Skawty

wow didnt know it was WPT event just thought it was like Bellagio Cup, just a non televised 10k Event. I guess since it's WPT there will be a bigger prizepool for me to win. = )

Fiesta el Lago at Bellagio
Starts Oct 2 and goes till the 21st. Main event is 10k buy in. Imma be stayin in Vegas the whole time cause Oct 2nd I turn 21 = ). Gonna be playin a lot of the events. Anyone else gonna be headed to vegas for these' Skawty

Online Poker Training
I know a lot of the sites who do this like cardrunners, RPT, PxFactor etc have a lot of videos on MTT and SNG play. Even some videos on cash games. But do any of them have a lot of videos on 10/20 NL or higher cash games' I don't think any of them have a lot of them but if they do I would wanna watch em to get some point of view of other people who play those limits. k thnx Skawty

i play at commerce a lot, the only time i ever see that game running is in the big mixed games, by big i mean 200/400 +. I havent seen it run as a game by itself there at all.

I've been to buffalo grove before, pretty random for me to have been there but my roommate grew up there. Needless to say . . . almost EVERY person i met played poker/gambled in some way AND smoked weed so . . . . prolly just some random guys not any big name player.

So you are saying that of the 16 other cards than mine that were dealt to people, it is wrong of me to assume that of those 16 cards a few of them are probably spades' I'm not trying to argue but more than likely, a few spades are dead.

About running it once or twice . . . My personal opinion on that is the only times I would want to run it more than once is a) if all the $$ is in and my chance of winning is close to 50/50 b) im playing WAY over my bankroll and can't afford to lose a very large pot, running more then once would increase my chance to chop the pot (dont play over your bankroll and this wont happen) c) if I am a large underdog and my opponent offers to run it more than once In this situation i'm 72% to win, probly a lil more since some spades are probably dead. Since that is a fairly large favorite running ...

Hmmm interesting. What ended up happening was when the asian guy made it $600 I was almost positive he didnt flop the nuts and since it was an unrasied pot I was pretty sure no one had a set. The was pretty sure the asian guy had either Ks-x or QJ and same with the player in the BB. I reraised to 1900. The BB folded and the asian guy shoved and I called. He showed Ks-10d and we just ran it once and he didnt improve. so I won a pretty good size pot. The BB said he folded A-J. The most discussion on the hand was if the best play was to get all the money in on the flop or see the turn then push.

Live NL Hand From Commerce
So last night im playin the $10-$20 NL at the commerce and this big pot I played. I wanna see what you all have to say about what you would do in this spot. I am in the small blind and I have $5,800 in front of me and the asian guy has me covered. I am in the small blind and there are 2 limpers, the asian guy limps on the button, he is playin somewhere around %60 of the hand he is dealt and plays them very aggrssive. I complete the small blind with 10s-2s and the big blind checks. Flop comes very nice, As-Qs-Js. I check, everyone checks to the asian guy on the button who bets $50 into a $100 ...
