FWIW you can contact the sites and give instructions in case something ever happens to you. They need the death certificate and a statement identifying your beneficiaries (most likely your family), but they'll send it wherever you want.

6man turbo SNG strategy
No. When you play tight early one of the side effects is you build a tight image. You let the fish argue over 60 chip preflop pots. Once the blinds are large and mean something, your tight image will help you shove and fold your way to a chip lead. Of course, play your premium hands aggressively early and look for easy double up spots like set-mining opportunities, but otherwise preserve your stack so you have enough chips to make people fold when it counts.

Practical Financial Advice for Poker Players (long)
No one's mentioned this yet but great post, seriously. I use Mint and it's definitely helpful - at the least it serves as a helpful way to set and manage budgets. Totally agree about not wasting money on stupid stuff we don't need. It's so much more important to save and let your money grow slowly over time than to buy plasmas and ridiculous jewelery.

I agree with what Adam is saying about how at some point things need to be regulated. That said, there are other ways to go about that without burning billions in potential equity. The way our government goes about extending its hand into areas it really knows nothing about is eating our country alive. I didn't really understand my dad when he went off about the healthcare overhaul (he's a surgeon), but now that it's directly affecting me I am starting to see how our government destroys perfectly capable industries. I think those who make the analogy to the postal service, DMV, health care, ...

lol @ anyone saying he should have shipped pre. absolutely owned duhammel, soooo much more value with how he played it (i woulda chickened out and slammed it in probably bc i suck)... didn't know affleck's name before this but def rooting for him now. handled that so well, would be funny to see how 99% of people would handle it.

Graduated from PSU main in May, played poker "successfully" throughout the four years there, and now work in the city but am considering giving poker more of a shot. For players with wife and kids
This. That's such an awesome thing that your kids just want to be around you, and it's got to be your first priority. I recommend either switching to cash or SNGs so your schedule is more flexible, or find cheap shared office space and treat it as a 9-5 away from home so you can spend at least a couple hours a day with your kids.

12 180 Regs Please Help Before I Stab Myself
When you're running badly you run into bad hands and end up looking stupid constantly. It's tough but you can't let it make you shove tighter. DNA2RNA once told me that when you're running badly for a while in SNGs you should let that tilt you into shoving more and more (because in reality you're still not shoving much if any more than you should be).

Hated the old site format when it first came out too but got used to it eventually, assume that'll be the case with this one (and I assume a ton of work when in)... so tilting that the cashes thing in the profile only shows MTT cashes (makes us SNG donks look even worse), but I suppose this site is mainly geared towards MTTs
