Live Low Stakes Cash Discussion Yeah my original intentions were to check call river but for some reason I just led out lol. I keep wishing I did that but oh well. I ended up mucking and I showed it and he ended up not showing his cards. As we kept playing I was still talking about the hand and he told me he had 55 and it was good fold. Live Low Stakes Cash Discussion I have another very interesting hand from earlier today, Tuesday. I had aces and the table had been fairly tight. Most limpers had been folding to raises from 14-18 in 1-3 and sometimes they would call if multiple people entered. Anyways, i made it 12 from the hijack with aces, and the button and SB both called.The SB is irrelevant bc he mucked after the flop, but the button had been pretty tight. Had not seen him get crazy whatsoever, and had not seen any types of bluffs. He was an older guy in his late 50s or early 60s. ANd I had basically been C betting every flop and taking down most ... Live Low Stakes Cash Discussion The standard raise is anywhere from 12-25 depending on the table. I was in hijack and everyone folded to me so I just opened with 14. He called a raise of 12 and 18 with 68 and 79 off, and I actually had ak both times and took him to showdown and won both lol. I'm almost certain he didn't notice me watching, I wear my hat low and tend to glance with just my eyes, and he never once was looking towards me. I hated this spot so much. I like unemployables response though, it seems so bad to just fold there. But I mucked like a nitty nit hahaha. The shove showed 44 and the caller just had 89. ... Posted in: Live Poker |

Live Low Stakes Cash Discussion Another somewhat weird hand popped up from a couple of days a go. Again, I play pretty tight pre flop and like to try and push some ppl off hands post flop. I raised to 14 pre with jj at 1-3, button and the small blind both call me. The button has been very loose, showed down 86 and 79 off against me twice previously. The small blind is tighter but I have seen him make some moves. Flop comes 6c2s7c, the sb led for 20 and I made it 55 and both the button and the small blind just call me. Live Low Stakes Cash Discussion Pretty solid responses. I was pretty tight, and haven't showed down much at all. He was pretty new to the table but had showed down mid pair once or twice against others.I realllllly reallllly wanted to throw out like 115-120 but I felt like I thought about it too long and he would cry call like you guys said. I just mucked it and he showed me 910 like for mid pair. Kinda wish I raised to see what he would have done, but I'm like 99% sure he woulda mucked it. Live Low Stakes Cash Discussion I don't like the jam with kk at this level. Ppl say it looks like a bluff, but these players don't see it that way. You are definitely losing value from mid pairs here. You can bet 40-60 IMO and if u get shoved you are never folding. You can adjust to scary turn cards. I have a strange han from a 1-3 game. I was in the CO with AJhh and it folded to hijack who limped and I made it 15 pre. I had ab 700 and villain about 500 and his lip range is almost any 2. The flop came Kc10c5x, and he checked and I C bet 22. He called and turn came 7x. I auto put him on some kind of draw and possibly mid ... Posted in: Live Poker |

Online MTT pro needs some live 1/2 advice I like to limp with the limpers with weak hands and see cheap flops. I don't get involved much with top pair in these cases bc I usually just don't know where I'm at with 5+ limpers, whereas other 1-2 players flop top pair and give away half their stack+. I'm more looking to hit a huge flop and stacking someone. Obviously you know how to play your big hands. Adjust to the table and pick good spots to get crazy with and you will crush it. Like others have said, they don't give a shit if you haven't played a hand for 3 hours. They don't think and treat it like it is blackjack or any other table ... Posted in: Live Poker |

Live cash game aggressive players Winstar has great action with terrible players if you are in the dfw area. Only about an hour drive depending qhere you are at. As for OP. Ever overhear people talking about you (when they didn't know you were listening) They were pretty much over at our place 3-4x a week, and were our best friends at the time. He wasn't really all that angry just thought it was really fucked up lol. He gave her a bunch of shit for it and would make snide remarks about it for a while. I guess it was more of a laugh yell rather than actually being super pissed at me. She was the type that talked a lot of shit anyways, so we kind of all just laughed it off.
