Peyton Manning The problem is that the stats are aggregated. A QB who has a rating of 158 in the first game and a rating of 20 in his second looks the same as a QB that has two games with a rating of 85. Clearly the second player is much more valuable in the postseason because he gives his team a chance to win both games instead of just one. Manning and Brady's postseason stats follow that pattern almost identically. Brady has an average playoff passer rating of 90.5. Manning has an average playoff rating of 88.5. Peyton Manning Quoting this in case someone missed it. looolllllll. Stats' The Pats defense was second worst in NFL history last year. They gave up the second most yardage of any team. Ever. And they went to the Super Bowl behind the best offense in the NFL directed by some guy whose name I forgot. The Pats were enormous favorites in 2008 until Brady went down. Would they have won 18 games' Probably not. But they definitely would have gone deep and possibly won it all.
