all the successful players telling you to finish school now and how they regret it now is bullshit cause NOW they have a lot of money. if you were to tell them to trade the hundreds of thousands they've made from poker for going back to their financial state they were in at age 18/19 (before making bank) , NOT ONE OF THEM WOULD DO IT. and its actually the opposite, school will always be there, we don't know if online poker is gonna dry up or not. use the time to make as much bank as you can now and go back once you've made enough.

so basically the best thing to do is declare taxes on whatever you cashout. i know technically/legally you're supposed to report ALL earnings, including your bankroll. but fuck that, why the hell would i do that' you just said it yourself theres no way in hell they can get my stars/tilt info and know how much my BR actually is. you just said they're ONLY able to track you by trails, bank wires, check withdrawals, echecks, etcs. again thats only my cashout money, why the hell would you wanna give them more than you have to'

yeah but a full stack reg is going to getting their money in as a favorite more often than a shortstack would for that same amount of money. not to mention shortstacker's plays get worse the deeper they get. it's not like they have an infinite number of tables to choose from, and they can't double up to 40bbs, quit and rejoin the same time for 20bbs again like an hour.

what it comes down to is whether shortstacking is more profitable than fullstacking for the same amount. ie. is buying in for $1000 at 25/50 more profitable than playing $1000 at 5/10' hell no. i guarantee you the 5/10 regs are making more than the ratholers at 25/50.

you're not gonna make $400 bucks a week consistently with that small bankroll. if you only wanna make $400/week just do the job until you can get at least like a $2k bankroll and play $25NL and soft $50NL cash and the money will come in easy.

i don't think the concept of "m" is even in phil's vocabulary. he's not a math player but more a feeling player. i remember in a wsop FT he raised to like 2.5x and folded to a reshove with like 6BBs left or something, it was the table with beth shak where they both picked up aces later.
