Ideal VPIP:PFR ratio for PLO? I've "dabbled" with PLO for awhile, but I've just recently begun to really enjoy it. I was wondering what an "ideal" ratio for VPIP to PFR is for PLO. I play a 21:14-18 style when playing NLH. I've heard that that is probably the most profitable ratio, electing to raise or three-bet over flatting 2/3-3/4 of the time. I never open limp, but choose to overlimp rather than iso probably more than I should, but anyway. I run kind of erratic stats in plo, but I usually play like a 45:12 or 40:10, and can go as high as 60+vpip and prob 15 pfr. So I go from like 2/3-3/4 of the time to around 1/4 of ... Merge and Bovada (Bodog) Deposits & Cashouts They did send me a pretty prompt response. I don't think it was automated, but wasn't extremely helpful, and only moderately reassuring. I started my 1st weeks exclusion today. Merge kind of set the post bf standard for turnaround times. It looks like bovada has set the new standard. Pokerstars Player Meeting I'd like to see a card option so that when your cards are dealt, you have to click them to see what they are. In some shorthanded spots I'd rather not see what I'm opening..or 3 betting sometimes. Big fold, or too invested? I agree with my check on the river giving away my hand..I just think the river bet woulda left me too short..And I would have had trouble finding a fold after I bet river...And for a "believable" bet it would have taken me below 20 bbs..Basically there are two hands I can beat..45 or a floated busted flush draw I can beat and ALOT that beats me..CT, I feel good bc this is basically my feelings..I did fold this time, but most times call off, and am wrong too often..This time however he showed 45 for a busted straight draw..I don't hate my fold, just a gross spot..I thought it was nitty at the ... I'm thinking the whole time about getting paid off by KJ..so secure in my read..Then the J pairs..I'm aware of the standard play..But I don't see him floating two streets..and if he called off with a mid pair..I have to think he's checking behind instead of turning his hand into a bluff..so his bet is very polarized imo..My thought process wasn't far off..just a tough spot I guess..Thanks for the breakdown, I respect your opinion..I'll post the results of the hand later tonight..btw I know my bet sizing was a little weak..but that was by design..I was trying to induce a bluff..or a raise from ... Lock Poker Down? Feels Great I went nuts with my first couple of 4 figure scores..I thought that one breakout win is all you need, as long as you were a good player..I played way too much, sometimes 80 hrs a week..I didn't balance poker and my personal life, and my play slowly deteriorated, to the point that I didn't even notice it..I thought I was just running bad..Which I coulda been..But more importantly I was playing poorly..playing crazy volume way above my stakes..I guess it's standard for new-ish players, but it's frustrating looking back..As I said, GL, and np on the advice,one thing about the poker community,no ... Long Sessions/Volume: How To Keep Playing On Aderol..only did it once and played, but I played for around 15-20 hours and had around a 300% roi..lol..jk jk..take some real time off..no studying or playing..go "poker free" for a few weeks(as long as you can afford, comfortably)..Unless you think you have other leaks, and you could casually do research on them..But only to pass time, not as a have to type thing..I was having this same problem, and just got a job, and stopped playing for awhile..Now, I'm back and hungrier than ever Posted in: Poker Community |

It's easy to start playing too loose..or too much volume, and taking higher variance lines after a rush..steady as she goes..use good BR management.. Sunday..Almost like old times My poker has been minimal for the last 3 months or so..I went from semi pro to recreational..I put $30 on lock a couple weeks ago and just messed around a bit..I played a few tourns with no luck, and left around $8 on there..I decided to get in the 9:00 $3 r/a..I ended up adding on and got 3rd for around $270 with $6 of my last $8..This inspired me to get up and running on a few diff sites, and I happened to have sunday off..For the first time since BF I was on 3 diff sites playing low stakes, high value 10k gtds..and alot of side gtds..from 3:00 on, my screens were full of different sites ... Anyone have similar problems with ACR? I have had problems timing out..Not from multitabling inter-site, but by playing multiple sites, I'm not sure the alerts work 100%..I couldn't get prefered seating by hovering and right clicking the first time..I had to change it by the in game options..now it gives me the option by hovering and right clicking, although it doesn't always seat you there to start with..I have an old school holdem indicator hud, and it works fine..I hope the cheatin' ass databases don't work Posted in: Poker Sites |

Eco Card or Skrill ? Apparently the site that I choose to play on has stopped using western union for payouts..Because the checks generally take a month or four, I'm looking into using Eco Card or Skrill, but I've never used either..just curious about experiences with either of these services, or if I should just settle in and wait around 6 months for a check by courrier Posted in: Poker Sites |
