I know that this bill was introduced 5 or 6 months ago. What kind of timeline and schedule does this bill have from here' Anybody have an professional/unprofessional opinion on whether or not this has a chance to pass' Just curious.

Filing Taxes As A "Professional Gambler"?
To anybody is tax-savvy or can help me out based on knowledge/experience… I am self-employed and work 20-25 hours a week. The past 2 years I have also played poker on average 20-25 hours a week. I have never claimed any winnings on my tax form. This upcoming year I plan on filing as a “professional gambler” for 2008. For those who can help me out, I have a few questions… - What is the first step I should take in filing' I’d like to make sure I fall under the category “professional gambler” as opposed to “hobby”. Im not a tourney player but it seems like VietCong - if he is smart enough - can use this already "mythical" table image to his advantage with legit hands. I mean im sure many people would call him with extremely marginal holding considering how much pub all these plays are getting. Does he mainly make all these all-in moves preflop' Or post-flop as well'

TheEngineer (or anyone else), i am under the impression you are from Kentucky so you probly have a better idea than me... If internet poker is eventually left up to the states to decide, what do you think the chances are of it being legal here in the Bluegrass state'

Yeah there are tons of players making a living off 50nl th 200nl. A solid player makes 50k easily at 100nl but most who can do it move up to 200nl+ and wind up making more. $50/hr 6-tabling is not a problem for a solid player. On Stars as a Supernova, 6-tabling 25 hours/wk, 45 weeks out of the year earns you $12,750 in bonuese alone. 6.5 $1500 bonuses as a PlatStar.

Whats Sportsbook do you use?
I live in the US and play on . The only problem i have with Sportsbook is you cant bet money-lines on football until thursday or friday. Ive been looking for sites with teasers over 10-points and also offer deposit bonuses. I looked at Bodog but it doesnt look like they even have lines up yet for this weekend. Where does everyone else play'
