bodog rep, can we get some new info on deposit and withdraws in light of recent event
I deposited $100 on Bodog this past weekend with my debit card in the US just to test it. I was shocked to see the $100 show up instantly in my account. I had a pending charge of $105~ (dep fee) for several days but it looks like my bank rejected the transfer and the pending charge went away. I played an $82 turbo so I already lost the funds. Has anyone had this experience with bodog yet' I'm wondering if they'll be able to get the money now (and if I had won, what would have happened) Spewed the last 18 on some exacta derby bet the same day.

I should be more excited for this, since basically a monster movie + JJ Abrams should be awesome, but I'm totally not feeling the way the amateur handycam shots look in the previews. I don't mind shaky cameras, but I think the handycam looks like shit.

Yo, the whole reason I use NetFlix is because it's the same price and convenient to get HD-DVD and BluRay discs. They don't charge anything more for them. For the most part, you won't have to wait for them being out of stock unless it's a less popular movie. It's amazing since I haven't found in-store rentals yet and the actual movies are like $30+ to buy.

I feel so bad for this guy-- getting punched by a couple of teenage girls and getting hit with a plastic bottle! What a vicious assault! By the way, I'm pretty sure I heard him call them "cokeheads" early to midway through it. All I know, is that even if a group of high school girls tried to instigate a fight with me, it would not come to blows. Imagine if it were a group of white teenagers attacked a black guy-- would be interesting to see Al Sharpton make a circus out of it.

Anyone who says anything about firing the guy who called the timeout is a fucking idiot. People use the word "results oriented" on this site a lot and that's exactly your mindstate. The TO was called BEFORE the play, not only did that mess up the timing on the play (the whistle was blown like half a second before the ball was snapped) but if he called the TO and Tom Brady DID get the first, he'd be a hero. I'm sure some ESPN analyst will write a 500 word essay on the TIMEOUT THAT PREVENTED THE GREATEST UPSET OF ALL TIME.

Re(1): any way to get the HD channels without HD cable box?
I got a Sony Bravia and if I choose the Digital cable option over Analog, the channels come in funny numbers like 131.2, but I do get about 6 HD channels with no box.

I like BluRay and HD-DVD a lot... but as far as the costs go, I'm not sure if it's completely worth it yet. If you are a big movie guy and money isn't too much of an issue, then go for it. Otherwise, you can probably sit back for another year and see how far BluRay and HD-DVDs advance, and if either one pulls away as the dominant system. I think I've read the HD-DVD addon for Xbox isn't that great, but you might want to google that and find a review to be sure. I doubt a 1080p upconvert regular dvd really comes in true 1080p and probably doesn't really compare to BluRay/HD-DVD.

PS3-men out there, anyone play FIFA or COD4
I got a ps3 last week with Call of Duty 4 and FIFA 08... so far I'm pretty shitty but if anone wants to play multiplayer anytime let me know... i searched for ps3 but haven't seen who on here are PS3men, Wiimen or 360men. PM me or post in here... if we have enough in FIFA we can get a league going

My Toshiba Sattelite busted last summer, luckily it was under warranty and was fixed. Again recently it got busted out of nowhere and the screen doesn't work. I've never dropped it or anything and now I gotta ship it in the mail to Circuit City again, who knows how long it'll take to fix. Thing slows down easily too.
