AKs vs EP raise. What would you do?
I almost flatted, but figured I would set myself up to be squeezed and then I would most likely be OOP against the "squeezer". Ok, so hypothetically, if I flat, and someone squeezes, and original raiser folds, do you ship the AKs' Just curious. Thanks so much for the responses everyone.

I like the nightly 70K ($55). Also, the $11 cube (1R + 1A), the $11 rebuy and the $27.50 30K guaranteed. The nightly 100K is also a good tourney ($162).

Why not at least look at a deal?
Three-handed (short-stacked 10BB vs the 20BB & 25BB stacks), I was once offered a deal for LESS than 3rd place money. After I rejected and laughed about the offer, the very next hand I get it all in preflop with 99 vs. the "offerer's" A3o. He sucks out an A and then proceeds to tell me in the chat I should have taken the deal. I am still to this day wondering how someone so dumb could end up heads up in a tourney'!'!' As a general rule, I usually don't like to deal unless the blinds are getting redic and we are close in stack sizes.

Satty Strategy Question
Results are: I folded. I ended up winning the satty...but it was hard fought. Had to shove a lot of marginal spots. Not sure if mathematically I made the right fold. If I call and win, I basically have my seat locked up. Call and lose, and I am out with no money. I am all about folding AA when I have the seat locked up...but this is one of those middle of the road situations where I am not sure what the correct play is.

Re:AQs against UTG + 1 EP limp
Thanks Tyson. That was what I thought when I shoved. I am wondering if (given the fact that I too am seeing an awful lot of limped monsters recently) it would be profitable to raise/fold to shove in this spot' If EP limper flats, I go broke on flop regardless. I never recommend r/f with my stack...but I am wondering in these types of circumstances if it is +EV''''

Re:AQs against UTG + 1 EP limp
I agree it was really very spewy on my part. I am just not sure how to proceed with this hand. Raise to 450 and then fold to shove' Flat and let BB in free and then when I miss flop c/f' I am sure that I played it poorly. I am just wondering how the rest of you would have played it.

AQs against UTG + 1 EP limp
Ok, so do you have to give an EP limp credit for AA'''' I don't really like raise/folding here with my stack. I don't like limping. The table has been limping some (including villain), so I can't completely rule out a random weak hand. Since I have given away that the limper has AA, I am just going to post the hand. My shove may have been spewy, but I wasn't sure what line to take. Do you call here? Very Early in a Satellite.
This is a $100 Satellite to the ME qualifier on Sunday. I have seen these donkey overshoves before. In my experience, 90% of the time, they are AK. About 5% of the time, it is JJ and the rest is either AA, KK, or some other random hand. This is a turbo tourney. I am usually very tight in the beginning of the tourney. Re:Unlucky or Spewy?
LOL!! Thanks for all of the responses. I usually prefer the more aggressive option, but wasn't sure if my stack was just above the option re-ship stack. I am not one to just fold and try and climb the pay scale (since I was in 3rd at this point). I suck at when and how much to three-bet, so this is the part I am really trying to work on in my game. Unlucky or Spewy?
This was 5-handed at the final table of the $28,000 guaranteed on FT. I have a SUPER tight image...mostly because I am a table of flatters and totally card dead. PCA Satellite question - good call or bad call?
I was just watching the end of the PCA satellite tonight and witnessed what I thought to be an interesting hand. There are 29 people left. Top 27 pay. These two guys stacks are in the top 15 at least. Is this a -EV call here to call with JJ' Gavin had been fairly active, but I have to admit, I was a little surprised to see the call with JJ. Re:Omaha Hi/Lo Cash Question
YAY! Thanks guys. I was pretty sure that I was being super nitty. I used my whole time bank and tried to figure out how each street would play out. I am out of position and we were both rather deep. I just couldn't figure out a turn or a river that I would be happy with aside from the case 3. Since I don't trust my Omaha game as much as my HE game, I figured that there was a good chance I would be outplayed on later streets. I mucked and kicked myself for about 10 minutes until I decided to post. I appreciate all of your posts! As for the tigers - PUT LEE BACK IN....he may through a ...

Re:satty spot in todays extreme sattelite
Need more info....players left' # paid' any reads' With just the information provided and assuming at the 150/300 level that you are no where near the bubble, I would never shove here. Sattys are all about survival and you have a guy who can bust you in the SB. I am not risking 21 BBs at this point. D PitcherAK is probably not guaranteed a spot yet, so if he wakes up with JJ+ or AK+ (Q - marginal), I am assuming that he will be calling. He may have a wider range than this. While you do have the best hand to bust a monster, I do not feel the risk/reward is worth it at this point. If you ...
