So Last Night My Girlfriend Asked Me. . .
This path won't end well. Take it from me. ;) But I would like to say to the OP; either teach her a more realistic viewpoint of the world and her existence in it, or just dump her because if she can't understand the conceptual similarities between poker and capitalism she's gonna have a tragic and dramatic life imo.

Cake Poker Question
I've played for years on FTP and Stars, but haven't deposited on Cake as of yet. I have played a few freerolls over there though. I'm wondering if Cake poker allows me to receive a real money xfer from another player even though I haven't deposited any funds on the site yet. Anyone know' I thought some sites wouldn't let you receive xferred funds. Thanks!

30K FT Tough spot with 22
I'm not satisfied with this play and want some strong players' advice as to equity that I have in this spot. How should I approach this situation in the future' Scenario: Final Table $22 30k. We had just gone 4 handed and I was the smallest stack @ 660K. Blinds were 20k/40k ante 4k. UTG and Button fold. I raise my standard amount with 22. Should I be looking to fold to any 3 bet/shove' Even if the player has appeared to be changing gears to be more aggressive' Any thoughts would be great. I use HEM and have for about a year or so. It is probably the best $80 I've spent. If you decide to purchase it, take the time to learn how the software is used as a tool for your game ;). I've heard PT3 takes more ram/memory too. GL

If you right click on the HEM HU display you can move it to where you need it. Do this for all the players at your table (what I do anyway). Then down near the time/date on your pc you will see the icon for table manager running. Right click it and click "save positions". Let it be noted though, that if you move seats at any given table your HEM HU display will not follow you. At least it hasn't for me. GL

I also think that a check on the river, given you particular situation and the fact that you little read on the table. A bet on the river OOP kind of polarizes your hand range to the villian. I would have probably called his river shove given this thinking. GL!

It's hard to say I think. If you are confident that showing your cards will give you some type of advantage (which would be the only reason I show any cards), then it can't be considered a leak.

Well alegabruz, if the answer to your question was a simple one, then there wouldn't be much stigma behind tilt. But I can tell you from my own experience that I used to get extremely pissed/tilted by bad beats, railbirds, rude chat, etc. Hell I got my own chat revoked for a month like 2 years ago. It wasn't til I got to the same point that you're at before I decided something had to change. That's weird for sure. I would say email support, but that might take weeks to get a reply. Crazy thing is that when you reloaded the window, it went back to normal. I'm not going to accuse the user in question of multi accounting, but it makes me wonder if both those screen names are generated from the same IP' Hell, it could just be some time/continuam lapse. I checked the stars website--here's the low down. 5.50 buyin (so prolly not worth callin in sick)--Bu you never know. Regular cash tourney payout structure, with an extra 25k in money to ALL players who outlast all six million dollar men. I.E. if Chino is the last million dollar man standing and finishes 18th- all players still remaining will chop 25k evenly. Could be worth it for the small investment.

Pokerstars Outlast Million Man Tourney`
I was looking into the promotion on stars for tomorrow 10/7 with the Outlast tourney at 3 pm est. It would be nice if stars highlighted the six guys' online usernames because the only one I could find was Chino's. Anybody know all six Pstars usernames for the "million dollar" men' Hard to outlast them if you don't know what name they're under. Thanks

I just started using Holdem Manager on a regular basis and really love all the information it tracks for me. I've been trying to get a grip on one of the Statistical Categories called "Donk Bet" Can someone please give me a better idea of what this category is about so that I know how to counter/play against this variable.
