Taxes in Brazil? Does anybody know the situation regarding taxes on poker in Brazil' If it is taxed as income, what are the tax brackets over there' Any info would be appreciated, I am currently a UK resident, so don't currently have to worry about such things - yes, it's nice! Non backed HSMTT players opinions There are clearly situations where a backer will directly profit from softplaying his horses, that's obvious. It would be nice to think that everyone involved in online poker was beyond reproach, and stuck not only to the rules, but also to the spirit of the rules. I think we've established this is not the case.(whilst I am optimistic enough to think 99% are good people) The potential for softplaying friends/family members has always been there and is pretty much unavoidable. Strategy discussion: The dreaded 15-20BB stack. I'll still raise/fold if I'll still have >15bbs left (obv. I have to believe it's a good spot to steal), otherwise I'll only open with hands I intend to call a shove with. Restealing with an effective stack in this range has become SO cliche, I'll call off super light these days(and everyone else is too). It's the same as a <10bb stack o/rx2.5, you assume he HAS to have a monster. I guess it still comes down to information and knowing your opponent, there's still fish swimming around without a clue about stacksize dynamics. Conversely good players could ...
