Re(3): ty for rigging the deck Lee!!! If your posting stuff like this...it means it is getting to you. The absolute WORST thing you can do in poker is let these "bad beats" get to you, it will totally throw off your game and destroy your chances of winning...trust me, i have experience. Just blow it off and move on the the next hand/game without ever looking back. Be aggressive preflop and smart post-flop. If this ONE "bad beat" really hurts you so much, then you are clearly playing too tight. Learn to be fearless playing any hand your dealt and success will find you and you won't even notice these "bad beats" any more. Posted in: Bad Beats |

Re(1): Do you bet this river? Why did you call such a small bet on flop with a flush draw possibility' IMO, raise huge to week out anything but top 2 or tptk. Sure you may think a set is great, but why give a chance for so many people to hit' QQ or JJ is probably raising pre so your rarely beat at this point....WEED OUT LIMPERS....but that's just my opinion. Re(1): Is this an easy fold? What is the buy in' If it is under $50 I would say fold. If it is over $50 I would say call, simply because in my experience it is very rare for someone to attempt a "squeeze" play at lower levels but quite common from mid to high levels. Rarely will someone think JJ or TT is good there. I think the worst you should consider at a higher level is AKs, but at lower levels very likely they have AA or KK. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

OMFG! Georgia! From Michigan To Georgia. May not seem like much, but the furthest I have ever been away from Michigan was the lower part of Canada. Leaving for Lansing tomorrow morning and will be in Georgia by Tuesday. Fun times, Fun stuff, I suppose this is my final farewell to poker(gave up heavy playing a while back, but now it's ALL going away for quite a while). ANYWay.....I hear it's quite a bit hotter than here in Michigan so that will be a fun experience. Why the F am I posting on a poker message board about my life' Well....WHY THE HELL NOT' So this should be my last post for a very large period ... Posted in: Off Topic |

Any Enlisted Army Men Around? As you may or may not know, poker has somewhat faded for me and I needed to take a new route through life and have come to a decision. Assuming my clearance is...cleared, im off to be an Army boy in just about one month. I figure this is a large community so there might be some people out there who have experienced this, so my question is... Could you give a fully detailed description of what U.S. Army basic training is like' All the good things, bad things, etc... I appreciate the help. -Ace Posted in: Off Topic |

Re(2): Well looks like im done. Sorry, I used to have the same attitude, i kept trying and trying again. Then I went bust, and tried some more. Simply, it has happened too much and I finally realized I just don't have what it takes to win in the long run. So, thanks for the encouragement, but I really do need to try as hard as possible to stay away. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

Re(1): Sad Truth About Most Players Food For Thought: Poker although mainly based around one's ability to outplay another, still DOES have an element of randomness. Although very unlikely, this means it would be possible for a player way better than JohnnyBax in terms of ability to never cash in his life. Doesn't mean everyone sucks. But I definately understand the point of this post. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
