Re:Bankroll Question, Searched and Couldn't Find It
If you would have read the jennifear article thoroughly you would have found your answer. Above poster is just messing with you cuz you didnt. To answer your question. The idea is to keep 65 buyins in your roll at any given moment. This means that when you want to 4-table you need a minimum of 69 buyins, to 12-table you'd need 77, and so on... And yes, 6-max has the same bankroll rules as a 9 man because it rewards the same percentage of players ( 33%).

Re:Monitor HELP!!
Basically what Xian said. Get a 24" with a 1920*1200 resolution. This will allow him to play 12 tables with no overlap. For example. You will have to check what graphics card is in the "dinosaur pc". If it's really as old as you say it may not support that high of a resolution. In which case you can buy a fairly cheapish card that does support it. Its quite possible that it'll have to be an AGP card depending on how old the pc really is.

According to stars it is in fact legal. Although i really dont see the difference between this and sharkscope. I guess i'd use it if it would be a hud. Now its just impossible to multitable with.

Re:16$ stt - bubble situation
I know im supposed to fold according to icm, so thats what i did. BUT icm doesnt take in consideration that the bigstack has somewhat of a clue and will be pushing a lot of hands next hand and as a consequence that i'm basically leaving myself with 900ish chips after the SB has passed. Wouldn't that be a reason to call ridic wide in this spot + the fact that villain is a reg and is probably pushing very wide ' I feel like this might be a spot where icm becomes somewhat useless.

What' He put in 3.7% of his stack preflop, so he's getting better than 20:1. How are those not the correct odds to setmine'

Re:Correct push with 99?
Thats a ridiculous overshove. You'll never get called by worse. When a regular raise is ~25%+ of your stack you're better off maximing your fold equity and shoving it in. If it's less than 25%, a normal raise will be the better option in most cases. In this spot i would have limped along. You're getting good odds to setmine.

I don't see how you can play it any other way. I think your raising size if fine btw. Can't really fold ever on that flop in that spot.

Re:Just A Quick Call/Fold Question ...
Thats why its the Nash Equilibrium. No-one said thats the actual range people are pushing. I agree that the button is definitely pushing wider than nash is suggesting here. Given our stackposition is still don't know if i really like stacking off here when we're gonna be a flip at best. But it might be the mathematical correct play nonetheless.

Re:AK all in pre flop, ur views
Learn to read instead of bashing my scores when i'm a sng player and have played 5 or 6 tournaments lifetime. 25% = standard 3x raise in this situation. So he has around 12BB. You call that deepstacked'' Clearly OP doesnt like to get into flip situations for his stack. Imho this is something he'll have to start doing and get used to if he wants to have any success in mtt's. I dont see how thats an "unintelligent" thing to say.

Guess i'm the only who's folding in this spot then :/ EDIT: misread, thought you were in the SB. Becomes a lot closer when the bigstack has already folded. I'm still folding though. Re:AK all in pre flop, ur views
You can't win a tournament without winning some coinflips and sucking out a couple of times. When a preflop raise commits 25% of your stack you are no longer deepstacked. Small ball poker is simply not an option anymore at this stage of the tournament. It's something you'll have to get used to if you want be a winning player.

Personally i don't change my raise size based on position. I will change it based on the blind level. My standard raise will be 3x, and from 50-100 onwards i'll make it 2.5x

Re:is this a +EV shove - SNG
You definitely still have some fold equity on the shorty. In theory the others have to fold pretty much everything when the shorty folds. But when the shorty calls i think the call by AQ is actually correct. He only bubbles when the shorty wins AND your hand beats his and he's well ahead of both your ranges. Is it +EV ' I think icm is pretty much spot on and its slight -EV. Bubble abuse on future hands might actually make it slighty +EV. Close either way and definitely not a big mistake.
