so i was thinking today what if the south had won the civil war?
very tempting to get involved itt, but I don't have all day to argue. will say this, slavery was the primary reason for the war, states rights was the cloak they hid it in. no one was starting a war on any other state right. " the gov't can't build a canal here, fuck you yankees, we goin to war!" it was slavery, and the majority of southern politicans said so. and the whole south won the war if only we had more weapons and manpower. point one, if the south didn't rely on slave labor they would have hod those things. the south in the antebellum period though wage labor worse than slave labor ...

Poll Question about rhetoric in political discourse
I'm not going to vote because I don't see the rhetoric being any worse than it ever was. now the election of 1800 was n asty, even by todays standards, also the election between jackson and john Q adams was one of the meanest. people forget there was a time in this country were a sitting vice president shot and killed a former secretary of the treasury over politics. A nut job shot a congresswoman, while tragic, does not mean politics are any worse than other times in our history. and by the way, I blame Jodie Foster.

i understand what he did, just saying the plastic box was not the problem. the outlet had to be changed, that's it. the only reason the plastic box had burn marks is because there was an electrical ark on the outlet, not caused by the box. you could have just put a new outlet in for a buck at home depot

why would the plastic box be the problem' plastic does not conduct electricity so i don't see how it could be a problem. all he needed to do was change the receptacle. and LOL at platinum box. you got ripped. and yes, i'm an electrician

you have to flick the tripped breaker all the way to the off position before you can flick it on. if you just try flicking it on it will stay in the tripped position.

see what thier price is for resurfacing them. if it's cheaper then i would at least do that. and yeah, they bang you on the parts. i do them myself so not sure what a shop charges for the parts.

get new rotors. you should either get the old rotors cut if they have enough meat on them or get new ones every brake job. the price of new rotors have come down a lot in the past 15 years that you should just get the new ones since it's close to the same price of getting them cut. if you don't touch the rotors you run the risk of warping the old ones.
