Run it twice on PS and FTP
I tryed it just to see what it was like when they introduced it but, aren't a fan and have never used it since. I prefer the good old fashioned way of deciding a pot.

How does one play Greeks?
What if your opponent in this hand was an Aussie' Would you then say " I may've played it badly but, at least i'm not an Aussie...O'wait...I am an Aussie". Hand has nothing to do with where the person is from and all to do with your attitude/mindset towards the whole thing and the fact you shouldn't have played the hand in the first place, nor the way you did post flop following your first mistake.

New Profile Pages at P5.
Thanks Adam...the regions and cities you now have listed are definately more appropriate, as the main ones that were previously missing have all now been included as choices. Bit by bit the new profile pages are coming along nicely, good job :)

Great improvement in terms of the cashes/medals page (they really stand out now), along with the front page stats and having key info visible when first opening somones profile. Are you still looking into updating the location/city database (Especially our one in NZ where none of the main cities are listed as options) as previously talked about in this thread'

Doesn't count for P5's rankings but, I'll take the win and the confidence booster...
Just wanted to share abit of hope for those low stakes grinders who like me feel as though ther've been playing well but, simply haven't been getting the results to match and wondering if its ever going to turn around. Was low on funds so decided to save my money and have ago at one of the $100K privilege freerolls on Stars. Didn't rebuy or take the add-on...just straight freeroll from start to finish and 9338 peeps /6 hrs later, managed to take it down for a much needed win and poker - confidence booster. Just goes to show that, if you stay focused and continue to try and play well no ...

+1 Really like the medals idea and the fact the 1st place gold and 3rd place bronze medals stand out for all to see when looking at peoples lists of cashes. Just a pity 2nd place silvers don't show out the same and are virtually impossible to spot amongst the non-top 3 cashes.

+1 NONE of the main cities in our country are listed. The list only includes small sub-cities, small towns (not even a city) or places that are so off the chart, that even I have to google them to find out where they are in my own country! LOL Agree with Norv's list of 5 main cities being the options or at least actually included as choices.

Article: My First Live Poker Trip: Prague Part 1
Thanks for sharing Alex, I enjoyed the read. LOL @ the bit about the female hotel employee ;o) Good lessons to be learn't from your experiences at the tables. Highlights the fact that the way things are done or interpruted at the tables can vary significantly from venue to venue and it's always a good idea to try and suss these things out asap before finding out the hard way. Look forward to reading part 2.

Pokerstars announces VIP changes for 2013
A couple of days ago Pokerstars held a VIP party in Amsterdam where they announced some changes to there VIP program for 2013. By the looks of things theres something for everyone and one thing I personally really liked is the fact that it's now going to be alittle easier for smaller stakes players such as myself to be able to move up the VIP ranks abit quicker. Will be interesting to see how it all looks once the overhaul is complete, especially with an added VIP level. Below is what I was able to find in regards to the upcoming changes... Summary of the 2013 VIP Club Changes The ...

A Question About Fulltilt
So...if I understand what your saying correctly, people living outside of the USA are irrelevant'! Seriously, have a think about what your saying. They didn't sign the pros just for the USA players. USA makes up one part of many parts in a big wide world and although it suxs that USA can't play or watch, a big chunk of the rest of the world (which is much larger than the USA) can and thats where Fulltilts customer base is going to come from upon re-launch. Fulltilt aren't going to be too worried about whether certain countries who currently can't play, can or can't watch there games, when ...

knock back bad idea ?
Not a bad thought...though probably wouldn't be that keen on it myself. Guess it depends on the average amount of K.O's your getting, what the BR your working with is and what stakes your playing (eg: how big the value of each K.O is) as to whether you would notice it or not and how you would feel about having it instantly or waiting as you've suggested... I really like K.O games...I see them as a chance to get alittle something back money wise, even if I don't manage to finish ITM and if I do, it's an added bonus.

Jonathan Duhamel's book
Actually, he does mention the attack towards the end of his book. Turns out the reason i've only recently discovered his book in NZ, is because it was actually only published this year and not last year like i'd previously thought, as he ends with talking about his results at the 2012 PCA. I really enjoyed reading the book from start to finish. I felt it was very well written, along with being very insightful and I actually got alot out of it. Would recommend it as a good general poker read to anyone intersted.

Jonathan Duhamel's book
Just wondering if many people have read Jonathan Duhamel's book 'Final table'' I see it was published last year, which was a year after his WSOP win and i'm not sure how long it's been avaliable overseas but, i've only just discovered it in NZ. I'm only half way through it thus far but, am so far finding it to be a very worthwhile read. Just wondering what other peoples thoughts are on it and whether anyone else enjoyed the book or felt they got anything useful out of it.

LPGA record for young KIWI girl in Canadian Open
Pretty impressive alright, especially considering 19 of the worlds top 20 womens pro players were in the field and she is an amatuer. If she was pro, she would've taken the $300k 1st prize but, being an amatuer was ineligible for prize money. She is now the youngest player to win on the elite US LPGA Tour in the history of the sport and is also the first New Zealander to win on the Tour, along with being the first amateur to do so for 43 years. Earlier this year she won the USA amateur title and also became the youngest winner - man or woman - of a professional golf tournament when ...

Pre-flop bet Sizing advice
Hi all, I've noticed lately that i've been struggling to find an optimal strategy for bet sizing when it comes to big pocket pairs such as KK and AA pre-flop, especially during the early levels of an MTT. I haven't noticed this to be much of an issue before but, its apparent lately by the number of callers i'm now getting and the low % of my big hands holding up that, its now something i need to have a look at addressing. With the blinds being so small early on, it seems that people are only too willing to throw a number of chips into the pot in search of improving there wide range of ...

Cash game help
I've noticed that when i'm playing $1/2 and $2/4 cap, i'm often up against alot of supernova elite players who are very aggressive and are often shoving with very marginal hands. Makes me wonder if they are simply doing that to earn VPPs or if its for another reason i'm unaware of. I would've thought they would earn more VPPs playing higher stakes so, maybe this is where the agression factor your taking about comes into play and perhaps i need to broaden my range in this form of the game to be more successful or as i said before, perhaps stick to normal NL instead.
