Revolution (Cake & Lock) Deposit & Cashout Thread So as of today, the pending cashout is no longer displayed in my cashier section...it's totally gone. Kind of freaked out. Not sure what is going on here. Anywho, I thought this was a great article on an often over-looked, but important part of improving yourself as a poker player. I think in general terms the philosophy of this article can be transcended into many areas of life where one is trying to hone a specific skill. 99 vs PFR and postflop big bet I'm replying without looking at anyone else's. Preflop: I guess 3bet is probably good in this spot. If I'm going to 3bet I would probably make it a little closer to 3x; however, were 45bb deep and it's early. I prefer flatting IP, keeping the pot from becoming bloated, but that's just me and were definitely getting 20:1 implied odds to set mine. Postflop: I would probably put in a healthy raise here. I believe a lot of times the villain shows up with AhXx nut flush draw...or he has absolutely nothing (ie two face cards no flush draw) and is just donk betting it. Either way, I think we find ... WSOP Circuit Schedule Horseshoe Hammond Oct 11-22 Hello Everyone, I was looking at the 2012-2013 WSOP Circuit Schedule and noticed that it's stopping a couple hours from my hometown at Horseshoe Hammond (near Chicago) on October 11-22. 1). Are there any other p5ers that plan on playing at this event' I think it would be a great way to put a face to some familiar names and talk poker... 2). For example, we can see someone has had three five-figure recent scores, but we have no idea how much they have in total cashes: 100k+' 500k' I think it should also display badges on the mobile version as well. My 100k Badge & Epic Meltdown in Merge Sunday $215 Yeah, looking back I admittedly used the wrong terminology. Meltdown would be more appropriate for the unconventional squeeze I made in the High Roller on Monday with Q7s: Sitting at average stack 35bb in SB. UTG+2 opens 2.5x, CO flats and I 3b to 7.5x, OR flats and then I donkbet 2/3 pot on Q6A only to get min raised and I snap fold to leave me with with 16bb, lol. Two tables left in the $33 ipoker rebuy, what range are we getting it in with here? I'm posting this without looking at any replies. With no info, it's tough b/c he could be flatting with a monster to induce a squeeze from us. I'm leaning more towards the logic that he feels he has a good enough hand to crush a ship from a 10bb stack, but wants to give himself fold-equity (esp in a ICM spot like this) incase you decide to reship. I would assign the SB's calling range as: 88+, AJ+, KQs I think our rejamming range is ideally: TT+, AK Now I'm gonna go back and look at everyone else's replies. $22 $3,000 Guaranteed 35 left easy fold(yes)(no)????? . Like this concept. So if no one else gets in and fish c-bets oop, we can float the flop and reassess on the turn. If we brick the turn and he double barrells, we can safely fold and still have a playable stack of 26-28bbs. Here's a question though, Manch or Will: What if villian checks the semi-dry rainbow flop. Do we make a stab here' Is it a value bet or a bluff' What range are we putting him' I know these questions are somewhat dependant upon table dynamics and game flow. merge outage for maximus update I haven't been able to find the $22 Night Owl tournament in my lobby for 3 weeks. I've tried typing it in the search bar, adjusting the filters, taking off the filters entirely, removing the Carbon software and downloading it again. I've even emailed support and they don't understand what's happening. I don't believe any of the hands I posted were bad beats (which is why I said meltdown--not bad beat); I was simply reflecting on a day that was a couple of flips away from propelling me to my largest cash ever. My 100k Badge & Epic Meltdown in Merge Sunday $215 It was a bittersweet Sunday: Two 1k+ scores--good enough to earn me my 100k badge; however, I had a meltdown in The Sunday $215 70k on Merge which had nearly 20k on the line for 1st. There were 384 runners. I was able to grind most of the mid-to-mid/late stages with 9-20 bbs. Won a couple of flips and 60/40s and got up to 33bb. I find myself in the CO with AKs. I open, sb (39bb) 3bets about 2.7x, I 4 bet jam and he turns over QQ. Board runs out A7KQ...K! After recovering from a near heart attack, I find myself sitting in 2/33 and were ITM. BVB-Flop 2nd Nuts-How Do I Get The Most Value Here? Thanks for the advice everyone. I would have to agree with both crackerball and bob here; I am c-betting this semi-dry flop 99 percent of the time with any two, and given my image, I should have taken full advantage of it here. More than likely, the c-bet gets folded to; however, it certainly opens up many more spots for him to spew.
