Can you refund a Tournament Ticket on stars?
I purchased a $265 SCOOP 2012 ticket using FPPs on stars, but then realized I couldn't play the tournament. If you email the VIP team will they refund you for the FPPs' Or can you use the ticket in another tournament in the future, even if it isn't a SCOOP' Thanks

Ya i have no intention of trying to play through a VPN on stars, if my account was frozen my ability to make an income would take a huge hit. I was just wondering what my options were when I was stuck in the States on the weekend, I guess they are few!

What Are the Best Sites for US players to play Sunday "Majors"?
Ya that is insane CalB. I know this is specific to me (and other ppl who have moved) but I have a place in Canada that I should be able to cash out to if I won. I would hope those cash outs would go more smoothly then those in the US. Was just wondering what tournaments were worth playing when I was unable to get up North to play on the bigger sites. Do any non-US residents know if you can play on party poker if you are traveling in the US'

moving to canada to play online poker
That's a great idea, I was concerned about transit times when adding in getting my car torn apart everytime i cross the border. So if you are crossing over all the time does the 180 day / 365 rule still apply to the amount of time you can stay in Canada' Also, on you application, does saying you will be crossing to play online poker affect anything' Or is there something better to put'

Does anyone have any info on how the 6 month limit would work if you still lived in the US near the Canadian border but rented a place in Canada just over the border and commuted to it to play 3-4 days a week' Appreciate the info

Swap agreements, What is Standard?
When agreeing to swap % with another player in a live tournament, what is the general arrangement' Do you get a % of the gross or the profit' Should they include taxes that they have to pay before figuring out dollar amount they owe you or should they just give you your money and let you worry about taxes. So what option is more profitable to you' Folding should not even enter your mind against the villain you describe. Idk how you can advocate folding when you say in the same sentence that he always folds to 3bs. So that leaves us with 3b/f, 3b/c, 3b jamming, or flatting. 3b/f should be out vs this villain because he may be fed up with r/f every time he opens a pot. As I said earlier 3b/c kind of opens us up to flipping with hands that he probably would fold if we just jam. Gavin did the math on why a shove is +EV, probably by quite a bit, though he didn't show how many chips you ...

hand 1: Jam is the best play for reasons that gavin stated above, or 3b w the intention of calling, but i like jamming more because then he can't talk himself into 4b jam garbage hands that we may actually be flipping with. hand 2: Had written that this was just a math problem, but I guess Tyson did it so call looks good. I think min raising is kind of a meh play though, jamming looks much weaker, or at least widens your range a lot more, and no one should be folding any PP to a CO 15BB jam. No one thinks you are r/f 15bbs. And if you do r/f 15bbs you should stop, that is definitely a ...

Bank called me and is threatening to shut down my account. Advice appreciated.
How do you guys send bank wires to your accounts. All of my banks say they will not accept 3rd party wires, and the one that will says they will not accept 3rd party foreign wires. How do you guys get around this'

4b/f with QQ here?
i mean i think we should lay off OP just a bit. 4b'ing isn't that bad, and given stacks i doubt anyone thinks villain is just going to 5b jam 100bbs. That said, as played you have to get it in, you should actually be happy that villain just jams, imo that makes his hand AK a lot more then AA or KK. I know it sucks to flip for a billion chips but I'd expect his jam to indicate a weaker range more often than KK+. Although it is a 10r w/ 10k ppl so who knows what these randoms are doing...

bleh idk, QQ almost = JJ here imo. i think virtually everyone reships AK and AQ in this spot, and i don't think he's flatting half his stack w/out KK+. who knows w/ games today though.. I think its a fold though

so you have ~20BBs' why are you raising pre if you aren't going to bet/call this flop' what is a better flop for our hand'' b/c flop. if you bet and he flats, ship most turns. the idea of c/r folding is LOL. That is basically like saying "I have no plan" when i decided to play this hand

swd, what is your experience with poker shortcuts' I'm reading through the 2p2 thread on it and it seems like its kind of buggy' Any problems with it or were you up and running w/out issues pretty quickly' sucks trying to work this all out before the biggest 3 weeks of the poker year.. :P

that sucks, it makes it so difficult to concentrate on your games when you have to keep using different keys for the same actions. Anyone have any idea if they are going to integrate the two any time soon' I may have to use the software way less because of this.

Using Table Ninja for both PS and FTP
Can you use the same hot keys when using both programs at the same time' It doesn't seem to be working for me, but that really doesn't make any sense if i have to have different hot keys for both. Anyone have a way around this or have the same issue' Thanks!
