Job Search Advice - Linked in?
I moved to Chi a couple months ago to continue my job search. I'm trying to get in an agency, obviously something entry-level. Agency jobs are incredibly popular so the they're in high demand. Applying through the website isn't effective (for me) because I don't have any agency experience. I do have good experience, but they look for agency internships in ppl's resumes. LinkedIn is extremely helpful. I will give you an example of how I use it: I search for University of Wisconsin alums/Marketing/Chicago and reach out to as many as I possibly can. My New Job, My New Dilemma
why the hell would ANYONE want to go door-to-door making $7/hr' If you stay at this scam of a job, you clearly have no self respect man or desire to do anything with your life. I interviewed at a company a couple years ago in Chicago, Green Light Marketing I believe it was called, and it just had SCAM written all over it. I got a final interview but didn't go because I realized it was a door to door piece of shit job.

I agree...the forum would be a separate feature and people wouldn't be able to see your resume or other private information. the ""-type profile would connect the job seeker with jobs, not with other job seekers.

here are a couple ideas: Forums (wonder where I got this idea)- i dont think job sites have forums where people can come together with ideas/advice/problems...i think it would enhance not only the site but the job seeker's experience. A "" type profile- you set up a detailed profile when you make an account, and like , you are matched with jobs that fit what you're looking for. text and email notifications also when any company matching your profile posts a job too.

Anyone know of a hiphop ejay type program for MAC' EJAY is a program with a ton of pre loaded sounds and you can "make" your beats with them. it's not compatible with macs though so any info would be great. thanks guys

So I'm playing in a tourney at a friend's house and it's six handed. I'm in the big blind when the small blind gets eliminated. i always assumed that the button is moved to me and i skip the small blind but they said the button stays where the eliminated player was and i am still the small blind.

IT Band injury...
