Advice for U.S Players with a Role! I think right now we all are trying to find our Role at our local Micky Ds :( One good thing about online poker being banned in the US is these kids can go back to school and at least learn to spell. Posted in: Poker Community |

Has anyone been able to explain why UB/AP is still truckin along? This. Based on their history, I wouldn't be surprised if this is just a cash grab. Posted in: Poker Sites |

We will not allow your cashouts to go through and we will not respond to your emails. Ah, squeeky wheel gets the grease. My response from stars: We apologize for the delay in responding to your email. Unfortunately we are unable to immediately process cashout requests for US players as a result of the legal developments in the United States. We are making it a priority to work with the relevant authorities to secure the return of funds as soon as possible. We will promptly provide you with additional information as soon as it becomes available. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience. So, basically no cashouts for anyone any time ... Posted in: Poker Sites |

We will not allow your cashouts to go through and we will not respond to your emails. This would be a fantastic argument if......stars didnt turn around and (within hours) issue a public statement to the entire world (barring USA) about where they stood on playability, deposits, transfers, cashouts, and future business stability. Try again. Sorry, but tired of hearing rehashed crap from people who are in the exact same boat as every other US player right now......clueless. Have you even read the UIGEA' No where does it state that it is illegal for a player to deposit or withdrawal from a gambling site of any form. But this is not the topic of the thread. So i'll leave ... Posted in: Poker Sites |

We will not allow your cashouts to go through and we will not respond to your emails. Sorry, but BS. Stars knows what they are up against. Any person with an internet connection can see exactly which accounts were seized and what specific people are being charged with. Add 48+ hours to the mix and this is plenty for stars to issue some kind of statement to the US players. Mind you it only took them 3-5 hours tops (from the start of this) to issue a national statement for ALL players overseas about their funds, transactions, playability and deposits/withdrawals. While US players haven't been told shit. Posted in: Poker Sites |

We will not allow your cashouts to go through and we will not respond to your emails. I'd just like for them to say SOMETHING. So many players lost their jobs, their main source of income, have a large amount of their net worth in limbo right now and they cant even be bother to say 'We understand players concerns right now and we are going over the situation, we will let you know something as soon as the information is available'. You guys seem to forget that the poker players aren't the ones who did ANYTHING wrong in this situation yet we are the ones taking the brunt of what is happening here. And I seriously hope stars/ftp/etc isnt silly enough to think that they can ... Posted in: Poker Sites |

We will not allow your cashouts to go through and we will not respond to your emails. That news actually makes this even worse. Meaning it becomes obvious they've been told not to address any US players as far as cashouts are concerned. Posted in: Poker Sites |

We will not allow your cashouts to go through and we will not respond to your emails. Sorry if this is a rant, but I'm pretty pissed off at Stars. Since the morning of Apr 15th when this went down I have been viewing forums and searching for information pretty much non stop. There is not ONE report of a single US player getting a withdrawal passed processing and NOT ONE reply to an email listed that I have found on any forum. I'm sorry, but this is just absurd. If this was any other site we would be crying foul to the high heavens. A site doesn't go from having an average response time of 10 minutes to emails and then to 72+++ hours unless they are simply being told not ... Posted in: Poker Sites |

Anyone have a Pending Check Withdraw from Pokerstars and cannot cancel it? Stars not responding to US players during this time is just fucking absurd. Even if this clears up and stars can allow US players again, I won't be putting a dime of my money on their site ever again. Posted in: Poker Sites |

Are US players able to cash out on Poker Stars? Stars support isnt saying jack shit to anyone regarding withdrawals right now. This is one of the reasons so many people are pissed off. Posted in: Poker Sites |

Will Bodog be seized by the US government just like the other sites? I doubt there is much truth to this. They have to be able to process deposits and withdrawals for US players, the only way to do that is through banks. American banks -> offshore banks -> American banks. There is no way they are doing this legally. Posted in: Poker Sites |

***Official*** "Where i'm playing now" thread (U.S. players) There is no magic loophole these sites are using to make deposits/withdrawals to US players. If there was such a loophole, stars and tilt would have been using this from day 1 (and they have the resources available to know if such a loophole existed). Any site serving US players currently is doing the exact same thing stars and tilt were doing. The only difference being they 1) Havent been caught yet. 2) Weren't doing enough transactions to deter man power away from the DOJ to be pursued due to the DOJ likely using all its resources to gather what they needed against ... Full Tilt and Pokerstars Domains Seized You guys are all talking about the DOJ proving poker is illegal gambling and that being the main focus of the case. It's not. DOJ biggest bullet is fraud and money laundering which they obviously have damning evidence against these charges otherwise I seriously doubt they would have filed in the first place. How much volume are you putting in? The whole point to this is how many can you play *profitably* if you can't play more than 10-15 a day profitably upping your volume is going to be a big big mistake. Posted in: Poker Community |

I refuse to believe poker players have ever been worse than they are today. People are just as horrible as they were back then. Difference is back then they folded way too often and these days they hit raise/call way too often. Posted in: Poker Discussion |

UB Wont Let me Withdraw Funds!!!! According to the conversation, this wouldn't work. Once he transfers the funds to another player (even back to his backer) that money is forever locked in limbo as the backer shouldnt be able to pull out transfered funds either. Posted in: Poker Sites |

Can someone explain this to me? Negriins line looks exactly like what he has. He played it pretty poorly imo. If he thought you were full of shit he should have jammed turn. Guess he just did the standard "I started with AK, I'm not folding no matter what" Only thing I would have done differently is find a different opponent to bluff. Posted in: Poker Discussion |
